  • Merry Christmas everyone!!

  • im thinking about buying this one, primary to use it as a midi controller, but I want to learn the basics in piano too. I am a little bit sceptical if it makes sense on a keyboard with just 49 keys. How often do you have to have to swich octaves when you play? thanks for any help.

  • @blu3leg3nd Excellent q. Sometimes I kind of miss having a full grand piano range which is what I'm used to.

As 49(or even 61) keys gets a bit crowded at times for certain songs. Oct. doesn't happen much though. I feel this is about the perfect compact size, As for general limits I could easly see me using this a couple more years and see no problem using it for learning basics of piano and even go abit virtuoso on it. you can do piano on it. But ya, I wouldn't deny a full grand.. is nice.

  • That is a beautiful piece... You should complete it :)

  • @ArGyProductions Thank you so much :) I will certainly try when got the chance, got inspired by your words. And so have a great day!!

  • thanks jimmyss75! I got it!

  • what do you think the right sound module for axiom pro? any suggestions?

  • @lynuxz08 You mean hardware? I havn't had that much time yet to be trying hardware modules, but I found the Axiom versatile, you could probably use about any hardware module or software plug, and get a good match. It all depends on what kind of music and sound you want. Some of the software I've tried and that I may confirm work perfectly; Garageband, Cubase, Pianissimo and Korg Legacy Digital/Analog, they all play well together with the Axiom Pro. Hope that's more or less answers your question.

  • what do you think the rigt sound module for axiom pro? any suggestions?

  • witch is better akai mpk 49 or axiom pro 49 ?

  • can you suggest where can I lean to use the axiom pro 49? I also like it a lot just not so comfortable with the rpogramming.

  • @iyaron1000 Actually I never had the need to open the manual just yet. So far It has just worked right out of the box! And I'm sorry I don't know a good resource on learning it, but If I have to learn it for myself some day I would surely do a video about it too!

  • like this /Hotz

  • Really nice piano song. How would you compare this keyboard to the older axiom version?

  • @corndogers564 Thanks! Well I haven't tried the older version myself, I heard they're supposed to be similar in action. I got the pro because the price wasn't that much different and also I could easly get a chance try it before buy it. I personally would guess the added "TruTouch" action makes a great different, and so I would'nt feel good abou recommending the older version

  • really nice :) is this an improv or are you covering something? I've been thinking about an axiom but not pro, because of the price difference. are you satisfied with it?

  • @blabla12331 Thanks! :) Ya this is just some original piece I made up the first week I got it, It's such an inspirational instrument to get you going I think.

And I'm still so happy with it, great piece of equipment.

My thoughts on is truly that If you're thinking to get a lot of feeling while not spending too much I really think this is truly worth trying out! :)
