  • I've watched a bunch of guitar videos on youtube, and by a bunch, I mean more than I can count. I have to say that of them all, I like your tone and touch the most. Please keep the videos coming!

  • @druno82 thanks a lot, appreciate that you listened,

  • ALL AVAILABLE THUMBS UP !!! ear-gasm !!! This one goes immediately to my Fav-list! Real fine music from bottom of your heart / without fancy studio/equipment but with light-years of experience in fingers ... ;-)) THANKS & CHEERS from Austria!

  • Sweet & Pure....

  • FUN !!!

  • Tim, I think I asked you before, but how do you think the Lollar CC pickups would be for slide playing?

Your little ditty sounds very "gospely" - lovely stuff as usual. Thank you for putting up all these clips.

  • @whatsitallabouthey I think the CC would be great for slide but perhaps a bit polite. it all depends on what you are going for.

  • @telebasher Thanks for the reply. I think what you're saying is good news. The sound I'm after is something in the Ry Cooder area. His sunburst strat has an old Teisco gold fold pickup in the neck position for a thinner, more "polite", yet unrefined sound, and a lap steel pickup in the bridge position for a more growling sound. I think with a CC in neck and maybe a good Tele pickup in bridge, you might get close to Cooder's sound.

  • @whatsitallabouthey Lollar also makes some steel pickups that might fit into the bridge of a tele, might be work asking about that.

  • @telebasher Excellent tip! I see he makes them for strats as well. There's a guy on YouTube with a strat with a CC in neck and Chigago Steel in bridge, a "nastycaster" as he calls it. Sounds great!

  • sweet stuff

  • Does your Nocaster have the low vintage frets or the Dunlop 6105? My '56 Strat Relic has the vintage frets, and I'm finding it's just more difficult to bend with those.

  • @tehorix789 I use stew Mac mediums.

  • I must say this is a most enjoyable piece!

  • Amazing playing! i hope one day i grow up and learn to play more like this!

    Tom
