  • Is that...no it can't be.

    'looks again'

Holy shit! It is! Its George Carlin!

  • i heard about this but oh...MY... GOD. Jesus fucking christ, the great george carlin, the greatest comedian to ever live on the biggest piece of mind destroying dreck ever created, why, george, why?

  • Good lord, George Carlin looks so miserable. He's clearly plotting to kill everyone while reciting his lines.

  • Wow I haven't seen this show in ages! I remember seeing these episodes when they first came out.

  • di-di--- did george carlin just make a sex joke during my childhood?

  • 90s: the best time to grow up

  • He did this when his wife was still alive

  • Shit, I knew I was watching Ringo as a kid, but when the conductor changed, I never put it together. I was watching Carlin, even as a kid!

BAD ASS! 90's kids fucking rule.

  • I remember watching one of George's Standups, and he mentioned working on this show, said that "I was Mr. Conductor, remember?"

  • I once found a George Carlin CD in the kid's section at Best Buy. The CD was a racist CD. I walked away with a smile.

    FUCK

    YOU!

    :)

  • @avalanchesuperstar At what point in Carlin's career was he ever racist?

  • This was where I saw George Carlin for the first time in my life. When I found out years later who the REAL Carlin was......I fall out laughing because I canNOT believe this was the same guy that was Mr. Conductor!!

  • I ACTUALLY REMEMBER THIS EPISODE, LOL. SHOWS AREN'T WHAT THEY USE TO BE NOWADAYS.

  • "Billy, were all the injuns alike in the old days?"

    "Go fuck yerself kid"

  • i used to have my mom record this show for me when i was a kid. memories

  • I could never figure out why Mr. Conductor would disappear whenever Schemer showed up, but then I realized that if he were to see a little man in a conductor suit who could disappear in a sprinkle of dust, Schemer would probably try to capture him and use him to get money.

  • I used to race home from the bus stop to watch. The jukebox always cracked me up.

  • This is so much better than the new Thomas

  • I loved this show so much when I was a kid, and it's so weird seeing George Carlin not swearing.

  • Shining Time Station RIP soooo many childhood memories..Old Thomas Pwns new Thomas

  • @DnaAngel33 I am 10 and used to watch Shining time Station! So true about what you said about Thomas.

  • It would have been awesome if he brought his stand-up routine into the show. The kids would be like 'Mr. Conductor, we're going to church to watch the Christmas play. Wanna come?' Then Mr. Conductor would be like 'fuck, no! Let me tell you a little something about religion, kids..." lol.

  • I actually remember this episode vividly lol and im 20 years old

  • old school

  • Ah, sweet nostalgia, how I love thee so....

  • @pitt5truct0r yeah geroge carlin played mr condoctor in season 2 and 3 RINGO STARR played him in season 12... i finnaly found an episode to proove a friend wrong.. he belives that thomas the tank and friends is new and made just for kis he is only half right.... • Comment removed

  • whats the show about and how is it connected to Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends if it is British and Shining Time Station is american

  • @cubeproduktion Both shows were made by the same producer.

  • Its the king of all nickels...AND I WANT IT!! Lol

  • Stacy from the movie

  • FRENCHIE!!!

  • This is new to me.

I remember watching Thomas and the Magic Railroad and thinking "Why isn't the Fat Controller in it?" and they didn't have George Carlin, they had that irritating man instead.

  • For the longest time I watched this when I was a kid, mom was always like omg that's george carlin! WTF is he doing on here?! So since then I always stated I'm watching Mr. Conductors stand up routines, thank god most my friends watched this when they were little and understand lol

  • LOL, press 8 to see George air hump at the little black girl

  • Ya that's George Carlin, read his memoire called Last Words, he talks about how this was a better time of his life because he got to educate kids

  • That little Conductor scared the hell out of me when I was a child !

And I always thought that ``Skimer`` (sorry for my spelling) looks like the guy from the YTV show UH OH !

  • @presaply Holy shit I thought that too.

  • @violinplayer101 Didi played Frenchie in Grease :)

  • Wow I remember this show

  • "I never out smarted myself before, I didn't think I was that smart."

Bullshit, George Carlin was the smartest man I ever knew!

  • The Hudson is to the New York Central, as the K4s was to the Pennsylvania Railroad.

  • MR. CONDUCTOR IS MY HOMIE!!! R.I.P. GEORGE

  • I didn't know this show existed when i was younger. I am soo confused?

  • Well, now I know why George Carlin's always seemed so familiar to me.

Go figure: The Swearing Man, on a kids show. But then, Tim Curry, aka Dr. Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror's been in plenty of kid's stuff since. Especially as Nigel Thornberry.

  • i was waiting for mr conductor to say shit piss fuck cunt cocksucker motherfucker tits fart turd and twat.

  • Pinche huevona, clean your shit up! its seriously just like 6 big ass pieces of paper.

  • Shit...they even had "Magic Sparkle Dust" in kids shows back than, lol. They don't have shows like THAT anymore, :-\

  • "Shes the best whistle tuner in the business ANd shes cheap"....What are you trying to say here George lol

  • it is funny how george carlins played a really nice guy here, and cussed so much when he did his comedy stuff lol. that always cracked me up. i never looked at mr conductor the same since lol

  • the kara girl is so grown up how dont even look the same

  • i always wondered why tito's stool was attached to his butt.... hahahaha

  • I grew up as a kid watching George Carlin on Shining Time Station. Then I continued learning from him even as a teenager when I really learned about him.

    RIP George

  • WOWW!!! I haven't seen this show in YEARS!!

Haha, i actually remember this episode. I forgot all about the little puppet people.

Lol. And what's with the huge nickel? Lol idk how they came up with this show.

  • @StayReal4God Same here, totally Forgot about the evil twin and the giant nickel

  • i find i cant stop playing the area of 00:20

  • Yeah, Carlin was known as Mr. Conductor. Y'all didn't know that? He was the coolest person there.

  • Awesome.

Also loved Ringo as Mr. Conductor.

  • Omg this so brings me back 15 years ago. I used to always watch this!!!!

  • ahaha, they must not have had a very big budget for props if they had to reuse the giant nickel from the jukebox

  • i havent seen this show in 17 years! god this show is so nostalgic!

  • jesus that kara kid is lazy can't even pick up some crappy shards of paper...sheesh kids

  • I really loved this show when I was little but I wish people on here would give it a break saying "They don't make shows like this anymore" Seriously you're making it worse. I know it's true but it doesn't have to be said so many times as this will just bring up frustration. I always loved George and Ringo as Mr Conductor!

Then they got Alec Baldwin as Mr Conductor in the Magic Railroad movie who is no match for these two!

  • Bitch! if you don't pick up those 12 pieces of construction paper and stop complaining

  • I miss this show soooo much

  • OOh it's that dude!

  • i used to love to watch this show. memories

  • nothing like this show to make u feel nostalgic :)

  • I wonder how many times Mr. Conductor peeked up Stacy's dress.

  • so many memories.... :D

  • ITS GEORGE FUCKING CARLIN!!!!!

  • @laffytaffy636 you can't say that on tv.

  • @laffytaffy636 yep the man himself, RIP George

  • 1.I don’t have pet peeves — I have major psychotic fucking hatreds!

  • that girl did magic school bus

  • I FREAKING REMEMBER THIS EPISODE. I miss this show.

  • Tom Jackson is one of the oldest engines

  • I forgot Carlin was on this show.

  • i used to watch this show ALL THE TIME when I was little!! <3

i just now realized the conductor was Gerorge Carlin as I watched this clip! lolz

  • @asiancaramel before Carlin it was Ringo Star of The Beatles

  • I'm actually getting emotional watching this... this was my childhood show man! This and Dudley the Dragon were the shit

  • For george Carlin to that it had to be court ordered

  • @narusakufan23

I met George during his last Pittsburgh appearance. I mentioned to him that the first exposure I had to him was on the show and he mentioned that he "Secretly liked doing things like that"

  • (9:15) George Carlin is like FUCK CANDY!

  • last time i saw this was when i was 7

  • yeah man... memories

  • You know before George Carlon, it was Ringo Star who played as the original Mr. conductor.

  • I did'nt know that

  • I think I know why they won't release the episodes on DVD.

The only reason they know there are fans out there is because they're on the Internet, watching these videos on YouTube.

If they sell DVDs, They know some schmutz is gonna put it on the Internet (be it by Torrent or YouTube or Daily Motion) and they're gonna lose profits. (Maybe plenty of them.)

    But it is wishful thinking.

Perhaps they should just release the videos on their site for free? :-D

  • @GenghisKhan44

They're not making any profits anyway... Why don't they just release the show on DVD so I could actually buy it?!

  • rip george carlin and my childhood

  • OMG i remember this from my childhood!! =D thank u so much for uploading this

  • Do you have anymore shining time stations episodes like Do I Hear or Nickel in a Pickle?

  • thats a nice model of a New York Central J1 hudson that billy made.

  • Holy shit is that George Carlin??

  • Yep, that's him alright. My first introduction to George Carlin was from this and Thomas the Tank Engine (as a child of course)....you can imagine how shocked I was, the first time I saw him doing his stand-up act...:O

  • Yes indeed it is. Ahhh childhood.

  • @Donteatmarbles

Well, it's either George Carlin, or King Mongo of the Ape planet known as Shippa-Whippa.

But I'm Pretty Sure it's George Carlin. ;P

  • @Donteatmarbles the one and only, rest his soul

  • as mr conductor's double, i think it's time to start some trouble. everyone thinks he's nice and kind, but i'll be mean and change their minds. then he'll leave and i can stay, and nobody here can get in my way.

  • @Donteatmarbles Yes, it is.

  • @mojovie OMG That is him

  • @Donteatmarbles Damn right it is. It's such a huge contrast to his comedy, it's almost comical in itself.

  • @Donteatmarbles oh ya the late legend himself

  • @Donteatmarbles Yes.

  • @Donteatmarbles Yes it is, Mr. condcutor was also played by Ringo Starr

  • @Donteatmarbles it sure is

  • @Donteatmarbles Yes its George Carlin

  • @Donteatmarbles yes it is and I have a hard time beliveing it also after listening to his stand up where he costantly dropps the F bomb lol

  • @Donteatmarbles it sure is....Ringo Starr was the conductor as well

  • @Donteatmarbles Yes.

  • Kara didn't want to clean that little mess?? 3:20

  • I loved this show when I was a kid.

However, I liked the first season with Ringo Starr and I am not used to this Mr. C.

  • i always thought that the dude in the beginning was Desi Arnaz's asian cousin. well then.

  • man i wish they would release this on dvd

  • Ya, that was an awesome show.

  • I MISS THIS SHOW. and it's crazy how George is the Conductor!

This show makes me miss the 90's and Thomas the Tank Engine

  • Damn.... I remember watching this specific episode many years ago... wow.... It's crazy to see it again.

  • Been 15 years for me and I still love it! :)

  • They don't make good shows like these anymore

  • wow, god i miss this show.

  • FUCK YEAH

  • does she play frenchie in grease?

  • Wow... why did I ever watch this as a kid? This kind've scares me now 0_o

  • are you serious? this was my most favourite show when i was a kid!

  • yes I am, but I loved it as a little kid to it just scares me nowadays

  • I'm surprised George Carlin didn't call Kara a fucking cunt when she told him to go back into the picture.

Ah, George, you provided me with so many great laughs and made me think outside the box. Thanks for the memories.

  • Thomas Jefferson-FIRST BLOOD!

  • I was watching this and a couple of seconds in I was just like "I REMEMBER THIS."

  • oh my gosh oh my gosh. I LOVED this show when I was little!

I've been searching for all those old PBS TV shows from the early 90s. Brings back so many memories...I wish I still a little kid.

  • same here

  • This makes me feel nostalgic. Especially because it has been at least a decade since I've seen this show. They just don' t make shows like this anymore. Everything is over educational now.

  • @1947Desoto I know what you mean. When I was little, I jumped up and down on the sofa because I was excited to watch this show!

  • @1947Desoto agree i guess its cause of crashing qualitys of school....

and so were now re-lying on tv to teach kids... how sad...

  • @1947Desoto VERY TRUE I MISS THESE TV SHOW THEY HAD TO MAKE 4 CHANNEL WIT THESE TV SHOW I WATCH TV SHOW NOW THEY ARE ALL CRAP BORING

  • wow memories! good childhood times

  • it's a shame the NYC didn't preserve a single Hudson. Why weren't they like PRR? The PRR preserved more steam.

  • I miss this show so much. But I never thought George Carlin would be Mr. Conductor!!!!!!!

  • wow George Carlin not cursing or ranting...cool yet slightly creepy.

  • Great show. I'd like to connect with other people born in 1990 and can remember this show well. check out my channel.

  • I was also born in 1990. I remember clearly this old show.

  • There's something I don't quite understand. If this episode is called "Mr. Conductor's Evil Twin," you'd think this would be his first appearance in the show. But it's not. It's his second.

  • I think this episode should be called Mr.Conductor's evil Twin returns.

  • Me too.

  • I vaguely remember this show, it was re-runs when I was younger.

    I was born in '95.

I was always a memory keeper, thats why i remember so many things from being like 2,3,4.

Thats why I remember this :D.

  • I love that when he's even rhyming like Dr Suess, George Carlin still rocked socks. Rest in peace, you glorious bastard (with all respect, of course)

  • The only time in history when George Carlin and Tom Jackson could be on the same show (at least I'm pretty sure...). :-)

I still have a soft spot for Ringo Starr's conductor, though George Carlin's was pretty frickin awesome, too!

  • I knew it, I just knew that George Carlin was MAGICAL!

  • LOOOOOOOOOL i cant believe that is george carlin,LOL! i loove this guy!

  • ah these were the good ole days of tv

  • Good one.
