The one thing I took away from the anime seeing as I had already beaten the game.  I never really got the ending of the anime though. In the game Mid-boss said if Laharl had spared Lamington then Lamington would have restored Flonne. Laharl did in the anime so why the need for that ending?

According to the translation i read "Aishitageru" means "I will give you my love". Which makes more sense IMO because the word "Aishiteru" translates to "I love you" but go figure.
