@jonnyis1man We were baja and we baked it under ground in foil with hot rocks , the meat is dark it has lots of bones but tast ok if your on a island and your hungry ,the kelp bass was better .
can you be a little more specific on stream locations? i can't think of many that have access to snow melt... with in city limits of LA... near san Gabriel valley maybe?
@mclee13 the san Gabriel mnts have great fishing and so does any of the rivers and streams that connect the fires the last few years has made it harder to fish some spots . Malibu state park has good C and R with bass , bluegill , big carp,
Theres lots of local lakes in and around Los Angeles with bass, trout, striped bass . Shorefishing the beach is great or try to follow up on local trout, catfish, bass plants. The trick to it is finding what the fish want on that specific day or hour things can change quick with temps and water vis i guess thats what keeps it interestin. A lot of times i don't catch any fish at all last time it was all week 7 straight days shorefishing with 3 bites and i saw two 28 in corvina that denied me
