I work for the company that did the final cleanup of this Catastrophe, this situation was worsened and sensationalized by every single crackhead, with a 50 cent camera, who was able to get close enough to tape something, bearded unwashed losers who should probably go back to riding bikes and snowboards supplied by Daddy's job at the steam plant everything is slanted people
Thank God For You Tube! At least these atrocities were filmed. It looks like something you'd expect to find in a Third World nation. I heard Erin Brokovitch was going to get involved. Is there any updates as to what is happening or not happening?
If their is so much of that junk settled at the bottom of the river then chances are it will never be cleaned up. Maybe in 20 years but thats a maybe. How are they gonna get all that junk off the bottom of the river?
Lol "most reasently fomred mountain range in the country"
i think it was brave of them to go out and get footage that the main stream media can't or won't do. if i lived there and had the resources i would get the heck out. tva should be giving families money to stay somewhere else until this is cleaned up. also, all the officials that say there is nothing to worry about should have to live there like they are asking the locals to do. they should drink the water and breathe in whatever the heck that stuff is.
Having lived there by that TVA plant most of my life,I remember that in the late 80s- early 90s that you couldnt eat the fish that came out of that river..They blamed radiation was already in the river then coming from K-25 and Y-12 plants. Now it makes me wonder
