Cats are actually lactose intolerant to a certain extent-- giving them heavy cream is recommended as it contains less lactose than milk.

Yes, i'm aware; humans weren't meant to ingest cow's milk, and neither are cats. I was pointing out that if it came to that, though, heavy cream is preferable to milk.
