It's funny to think that Mac Tonight was one of Doug Jones ( guy who plays Abe in Hellboy ) first on screen roles! Thanks for bringing back the nostalgia! I remember seeing these commercials on tv when I was about 10 or 12!

I sort of knew Mac Tonights days were numbered when they had some chick [I assume it was a chick since the person was 95lbs soaking wet with a G-String.] dress up as Mac Tonight; and she scared the living shit out of my little brother who was about one or two. This was in '86, by '88 Mac Tonight was a faded memory.

Let's see, I was maybe... four or five... And I saw some old Happy Meal toy or something with this dude riding a motorcycle or something. That dude scared the crap out of me.
Twelve or so years later, knowing who this character is, and seeing his commercial, I am still convinced that this is one creepy guy.

I dressed up as this guy for halloween as a kid! My mom made a great paper mache mask. I haven't seen this commericial in almost 20 years..thanks for posting!

Awwww I don't remember Mac Tonight since I was born a bit before the time he came out but I love the commercials I remember the old toy commercials and stuff from McDonalds to bad the commercials are crappy now.
