A great car made when GM knew how to build a car. Now GM has either eliminated or neutered every good car they ever built. Names and cars such as Lucerne, Cruze, Volt, Aveo, and Terraza = gayness.
Looks just like the one in my Garage. I be damn it is. Lovin the 9 miles to a gallon right now. As for the wheels I have the stockers to put back on...
looks like my 73 but mine has a 350 its pushing about 400 hp was going to get a big block but since the 350 is already as powerful as a stock 455 i decided that the 350 would be better since i get 25 mpg i still got the 3 speed trans in it but not for long cause im getting a 700r4 for it
I used to have a '74 W-30 Hurst/Olds. It was white with gold stripes and the roof was black with a white stripe across it. Man you talk about a car that was a looker. Every time I parked there was always four or five people looking at the car.
I'm not trying to pick a fight, but I've always thought of these cars as an insult to americas car industry !!! I would have hated being a car salesman back then.
I've owned one of these for the last 10 years mine has a cam & Edelbrock intake, mine sounds like this but it rappa- a-chugas from the cam. took it to the strip a couple of times man does it go! I can burn rubber ANYTIME I want ! Life is fun eh?
nice, a guy i knew at swenson olds in willmar mn, had a black and gold olds like that, and ahh yes the flipped air cleaner cover i know the the sound ,have a 75 grand am with my brothers old 73 400 and four speed in my car
Great car....I had the same car back in 1978, only it was black with the gold trim.... one of the things I really enjoyed about the the car was the swivel bucket seats.. and for a very heavy car that 455 got up and went (nothing like todays rockets but back then it was great)when that four barrel opened up it made a sound that I have never been able to duplicate in another car, and I have had camaros, vettes and other big block vehicles.......anyway thanx for the memories............scott
Have a rare 73 Omega with a 72 350 Rocket stock. Definitely great cars.

Without a doubt the ugliest car ever made.

If your gonna stick some custom rims on it you should put some decent meats out back. Original style rims would look better IMHO. Nice Hurst.

You are welcome.. Ahh, the sound of the 4BBL kicking in. Remember when you flipped the air cleaner and then put your foot in it?

Your making a big mistake. Motor wasn't rebuilt, I remember the owner who sold it to you.
