  • @AznInsurrection777 tl;dr The point is that SubVibe is awesome, this song is awesome, and I just wanted to respond to them, as a fan of both metal and their music. So to everyone else I apologize, just listen to the song. It rocks. Great job SubVibe!

  • @AznInsurrection777 While some EDM doesn't involve complexity, a lot of it does, and certainly this song and most of SubVibe's music does. If you weren't so elitist about the purity of metal, you would know that 1. most of the people you listed don't actually sound good, and that 2. J Cole, while his debut was a bit disappointing, put out three of the best truly rap mixtapes prior to that release, and that the album does have a few gems on it.

  • @overdose353 Shut the fuck up.

  • Been waiting so long!

    Fuck yes^ ^

  • @AznInsurrection777 They aren't as tight, the vocals suck (especially in DT's case, more than usual). You'll note that metal heads generally don't just stand around silently in awe of the technical prowess of the band onstage, but are singing, yelling, going nuts and generally just enjoying the experience. Also, while noone argues that it is hard to play EDM live, I must point out two things: It actually sounds better live, and that it requires a lot of technical knowledge to make.

  • @AznInsurrection777 One of my favorite bands, Amon Amarth, is very fast, but beyond that they are very simple songs on a formula, with not much knowledge of theory or experimentation. Same goes for Kamelot, or most symphonic metal bands (please don't kill me SM fans). If you go to concerts merely to see how well the band plays, unless it's a jam band, you clearly miss much of the point of a concert. Especially since most metal bands don't sound nearly as good live.

  • @AznInsurrection777 sorry all but I take music seriously and take this as a personal affront. So if I may rant... Many of the greatest metal bands don't have much technical proficiency or knowledge of music theory. Those that do have proficiency generally use it within a very narrow formula, and could churn out an album a month if they felt like it. I think this applies to Behemoth, Rotting Christ, Dark Tranquility, even core bands like Messhugah or any of the Sumerian bands.

  • as fucking awesome as expected :D !!!!SubFUCKINGVibe!!!!

  • liked by raegwyn :D

  • stfu the lot of you and listen to the goddamn song

  • This is fucking sick!

  • I dont like metal but I allways love ur remixes and the parts u added in are totally awesome :)

  • @AznInsurrection777: I think I may consider myself a metal head, and Dream Theater is far from representing metal. I listen to metal because I like the music, not because of any of that garbage. I hate most of DT's newest stuff, not because they've become worse at their instruments (robots tend not to do that) but because they've lost the ability for the most part to write good songs. jaydubs is right, but I wouldn't care if EDM was really easy to make as long as I enjoyed listening to it.

  • @overdose353: I like music cuz it sounds good = mainstreamhead.

J Biebs, Lil Wayne, JCole, T.I., Eminem, Gym Class Heroes, JoBros, Drake, etc.

Metalheads don't like mainstream because it takes so little skill to make and perform that kind of music (hurr durr EDM hit play button)

The irony, you hate DT's newest stuff when they've moved toward a more melodic style, making it easier to listen even for people who can't appreciate musical talent. They'd dumbed their stuff down.

  • @overdose353: Hell, pretty much all of mainstream uses EDM now. Metalheads appreciate complexity in music as well how good it sounds. Sounding good with little musical complexity is not something for metalheads.

  • Fuck the part after 6:26...

    ♥

  • I'm crying inside. Somethings in life are just too beautiful.

  • This is probably the best dubstep remix I've heard in a while. Keep it up!

  • Gotta Love Enter Shikari, theyd be happy with this remix :)

  • This is seriously violent. As a metal AND dubstep lover, I can only say one thing: SICK. Can't wait for the EP!

  • The metalhead approves.

  • @overdose353: Loool, this song isn't for 'metal heads'.

Listen to Dream Theater then tell me how similar their songs are to any type of dubstep, hell even this song.

Nice song, but any real metal head doesn't listen to electronic music. If you're not technically proficient with instruments, you won't gain any respect from a metal head. Which is why they don't listen to electronic music, because it takes little skill to be on stage performing live while hitting the"play" button

  • @AznInsurrection777 and yet these producers understood the chord progresson of this song and built their remix around it, staying in key and forming melodies as well as background synths.. all the while keeping production tighter than a virgin pussy. i pity you if you can't appreciate the complexity of producing this kind of music.

  • @AznInsurrection777 dude, do you think that everyone is like you? I listen to In Flames, AILD, ATR, Soilwork and that stuff, but i also listen to Skrillex, Subvibe, Deadmau5, even David Guetta, Mumford and Sons etc.. so shut up.

  • @maartenkorving: John Petrucci's skill, nuff said. So no u, fake metal head.

  • @AznInsurrection777 Dream theater? you must be joking me?

  • Dubstep + Enter Shikari + Free D/L = Win of the day...

  • wuuuhuuuu 8)

  • You don't know how long I've been waiting for this :D
