I think people might wait on revolting to see how it goes if he gets elected. Wonder what will happen when they stop giving drug addicts & Alcoholics SSI (social security supplement). Example: I know of a father & Son who are drug addicts and get SSI, apartment in a nice building with elevator, electric paid for and food at taxpayers’ expense. Another family of a mother, 2 daughters that are too fat to work & son that is a drug addict get the same. Who the hell gave these politicians the right to take my hard earned money and give it to these people?
@rocksiphone obesity and drug addiction are medical problems. Some are more subject to them than others. I have done a great deal of research on obesity, and in the current culture the deck is stacked against people. However, if the country falls apart enough to require people to start cooking their own food again, that will cure many obese people. There is too much added glutamate in the processed food, which is proven to increase BMI.
@rocksiphone I had to start cooking all our food from scratch because my daughter had a long list of allergies. The health of all of us who ate 100% homecooked food drastically improved. We did not quit corn because it was one of the few things my daughter was not allergic to. I also lost 24 pounds now eating this way. I think the GMO corn could well cause some problems, but I think obesity, autism, ADHD & allergies are caused by eating the tons of glutamate added to the food.

People need to eat more fiber. Health starts in the bowl

In the pancreas glutamate and GABA have opposite signalling functions. Both type II & type I diabetes can be treated with GABA agonists (increase GABA) and glutamate antagonists (decrease glutamate). So, it is easy to see excessive glutamate will worsen blood sugar control, and there is excessive glutamate in processed food.

I have done a great deal of research on obesity, and in the current culture the deck is stacked against people. However, if the country falls apart enough to require people to start cooking their own food again, that will cure many obese people. There is too much added glutamate in the processed food, which is proven to increase BMI.

@rocksiphone I had to start cooking all our food from scratch because my daughter had a long list of allergies. The health of all of us who ate 100% homecooked food drastically improved. We did not quit corn because it was one of the few things my daughter was not allergic to. I also lost 24 pounds now eating this way. I think the GMO corn could well cause some problems, but I think obesity, autism, ADHD & allergies are caused by eating the tons of glutamate added to the food.

In the pancreas glutamate and GABA have opposite signalling functions. Both type II & type I diabetes can be treated with GABA agonists (increase GABA) and glutamate antagonists (decrease glutamate). So, it is easy to see excessive glutamate will worsen blood sugar control, and there is excessive glutamate in processed food.

I don't understand why Mike thinks that Ron Paul couldn't hang with Obama in a debate. If Ron Paul won the nomination he would beat Obama easily, as he would get the conservative votes, and most importantly the independents.

Don't....just don't even start you fanatical supporters of Ron Paul. Just admit that Savage knows he's not perfect, and that he's not right on every single thing. Like the caller, I too am not backing ANYBODY. Made that mistake once *coughcaincough*, won't again. And yes Savage, only pot smoking folks would choose Ron Paul.

@THEsquirrel3d Well you show yourself to be just as short-sighted as the ones saying Ron Paul is "unelectable". The caller mentioned that Mitt Romney's co-founded company, Bain Capital is donating to the Obama campaign. If that is true, it's certainly significant foul-play considering Bain Capitol is Romney's company. I haven't verified if that's true, but Savage dismisses this as "normal" while missing the whole "BAIN CAPITAL" part of the caller's comment. Just sad lack of attention to detail.
