I read his last autobiography, the magic, the madness the whole story, this was actually a staged performance. he wasn't injured at all. Michael was known to pull a lot of stunts like this to bring more publicity. He was gorgeous and smart!! He knew just what to do!!! Luv him And yes he usually lip sang at award shows, u can tell becuz there is no variation from the original track. When live most artists never sound exactly like they did on the track bcuz they are moving around on stage
