oh ya im WAY past almost there...i got the car up to 600whp and melted a piston..so i had to rebuild the motor with CP pistons and eagle rods...so now its even better then before...I have everything powder coated and on hybridz.org you can see some updated photos

Sounds like your exhaust waves are getting caught up in your muffler. Tuning your exhaust system and/or changing your muffler type can net you a little bit of power... then again, it may just be the idle where it's collasping.

Here's some terms that might help you Google your way to a less embarrassing life: variable baffled muffler, tuned header, equal length header, unequal length header, header collector scheme, header design, cross pipe technology, H-pipe, X-pipe, 6>1 header, 6>3>1, stepping header, etc, etc, etc.

And im not a REAL datsun guy? Just cause I have a 2jz now? Before this motor I had a stroked out high compression L28 I built MYSELF. And I went with the 2jz over the RB 2.6 because it has more displacement..fordge pistons STOCK...and i can call the toyota dealer and buy parts 24/7. Doing this swap added less then 80lbs to the car...now I have 700hp...sorry im so happy I didnt go V8! Car still handles like a Z but pulls like a supra...
