  • These guys are fucking amazing.

  • Whats Crazy is that i finally found this Great Band . They are Absolutely Amazing . Thanks for Posting these Awesome Vids of them.

  • Wow.... I'm amazed. This is so much like the Beatles. They have everything right. The sound, the voice, even the posture.. Wow

  • Nobody comes alive as much as john in the chrous

  • wow what a cover!!! the best john lennon's imitation

  • Can't wait to see these guys again, they do a great show!

  • Awesome! :D Personally, I'd rather here a good cover band of the Beatles - like these guys - than go to a "real" concert of someone less talented. When you attend a piano recital or symphony, that's essentially a cover band. I mean, Mozart and Beethoven themselves aren't there. Speaking of classical, the Beatles are the only band I put in the same category as Mozart; their music is THAT good!

  • Growlyman, I've heard these videos countless times and never get tired of them. I've also heard Wingsband on Youtube countless times. Those performances I think are better than great. Why doesn't the Wingsband website have any upcoming performance dates? What's the story there?

  • I agree that the fellow doing John sounds better than Lennon did singing this live! Fantastic sound.

  • did john get reborn ? lol

  • Amazing how "John" got his acoustic guitar to sound just like a Rick 325 on this.

  • @gdholmfirth There's an electric pickup in the J160E that we're playing, just like John did on the recording ... and that's why we sound like the record. It wasn't a 325.

  • @gdholmfirth Well I think it was the other way around John got his Rick 325 to sound just like his Gibson J-160E so he wouldn't have to switch guitars during performances.

  • Hey Growlyman, are you Michael Amador (The George in this) I was just curious because at the Cali State fair this year they said that was who did the mixing

  • @shitfeast No, I preceeded Mike. Still, it would be pretty amazing if I could engineer and be on stage at the same time on these videos, eh?

  • The Fab Four Ultimate Tribute band wwwDOTthefabfourDOTcom

    John: Ron McNeil

    Paul: Ardy Sarraf

    George: Mike Amador

    Ringo: Rolo Sandoval

  • The closest thing to the real beatles.

I want to see them live. They are coming to a town near me but sadly, I have plans I cant change to go see them :c

  • holy shit he looks like john

    SKEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

  • Great sounding Lennon. Easily the best I've heard.

  • Easily the best I have ever seen! Bravo!!

  • Fuck I shit my pants when John started singing. Is he real John ?

  • wow! they're good!

  • i pley the beatles video game. when are they goin to pley in my town show?

  • @JamesTKirkCobain When you learn correct grammar.

  • Does Ron tune his guitar down and capo to make it easier to play? it's a struggle on an acoustic!

  • The best of the cover bands. I have seen them many times in Vegas where I live. Excellent.

  • I like that smile at 1:58

    :)

  • great....

  • Happy Happy Joy Joy

  • Has anybody noticed the Ringo of this group. They're all the best Beatles impersonaters but everybody notices Paul, John, and George. Just look at the Ringo. He copies every single Ringo movement. Nobody does it better than the Fab Four.

  • They sound almost like the beatles!

  • Cool! A left-handed Paul and a Ringo that looks like Ringo! John & Paul also nail the stances and moves of the originals. Good job, guys. Let me know if you ever come to Colorado!

  • hey growlyman, do you have feedback problems with the j160e using the pickup?

  • @BeatleSongPlayer Apart from the intentional feedback at the beginning of this song, we've been able to tame the pickup rather well. Takes a bit of patience, and some other technical trickery, but one can do it.

  • Oh really? I like them more than Rain, Rain's performances is kinda overacting and for that, the nostalgic part of watching the "Imagined original performances" of the Beatles are trashed. I like Fab Four, best tribute band from musicality, musical instruments, body postures, styles and voice qualities

  • Even throws in the dog bark! Great! I'm from vegas and believe me, I have seen alot of Beatle bands (even been in a few), and this is hands down the best! Except, no ones been able to get a good look alike of George for some reason.

  • @MrChad6729

The "Gavin" George that I just saw these guys with (not the one in this video) was insane, he looked closer to one of the guys than any of the performers looked... looked exactly like George, and he has even played with McCartney!

  • This is awesome stuff. I can't wait to see you guys at the California State Fair in July. and yes, the mix is great growlyman!

  • One of my top 5 Beatle songs, it makes me smile anytime I hear it. "I'm so glad" the Fab Four do such as nice job. The "Lennon" guitar work was true to the original.

  • This is the closest thing to the Beatles and not be the Beatles.

  • Very nice drumming

  • There is no question about it - they simply are the BEST Beatles Tribute Group I've ever heard!

  • Dude you sound more like John Lennon than John Lennon. Awesome all around, love the drums too, you guys fking nailed this one...wow.

  • sounds better than most...surprised!

  • Good job on the drums as well.

    Those are hard to replicate.

  • Awsome Tribute Band!

  • he used it at the nme polls winners concert if you have the beatles dvd anthology you can see it there.

  • Remarkable. Very impressive.

  • Fab four, I'm your fan-!!!!! Congratulations from méxico city!!!

  • The guy singing lead is WAY good..

  • I am in love with the guy who looks and sounds like John lol. I like this song, they do a good job with it too. :)

  • John, on the Gibson J160 E, it you notice as the camera pans into George, you can just see John to the side, you will also see John playing the riff again during the outro.

  • What you're hearing is all live. No overdubs, no tracks. The acoustic guitar is a Gibson J160E, which is what Lennon used. We used the electric pickup just like they did.

  • @growlyman So on the original John played the lead riff on his Gibson acoustic? You learn something everday.

  • You need to remember, what is being duplicated are studio recordings being performed LIVE. Believe me, I have seen my share of Beatles' tribute bands and you really should give credit to THE FAB FOUR. They are indeed the ULTIMATE Beatles' tribute band. Rock on mates!

  • this guy sounds like lennon!

  • This is a great effort. There is no getting around that. Great song. Great presentation. And the vocals are spot on fantastic, especially the harmonies.

  • You even done the bass feedback at the start - well done boys - I am sure paul would approve

  • The feedback at the start of the recording is John's J160 E guitar. The A string is struck and rings out until feedback begins. It was (as far as anyone knows) the first time feedback was purposely used.

  • Very nice. I'm looking forward to hearing them all.

  • very great!

  • Is this group still existing nowadays? I hope they will visit us here in the Philippines. Excellent performer! GOD bless u!

  • Hey guys. Greetings from over the pond. Best beatles tribute i've heard!!! i can't believe how much john sounds like john..well you know what i mean.

    Come to the uk!!!!!

  • I have seen many attempt this an thewre is NO ONE who is the absolute quintessential tribute band who has the muli talented musicians as this band...there are those who CLAIM they are the FAB FOUR but aren't!

Ardy, Ron, Rolo, Micheal / Gavin are the best!

    Way to go guys!

  • these guys are brilliant ,not far off as good as the real thing

  • Amazing! What an excellent rendition!

  • so growlyman are u apart of the fab four or are u just a fan , i mean how do u know about the specifications?

  • I'm their audio engineer and technical director. I'm also a musician myself.

  • oh hey thats awesome! the fab four rule

  • Nice! I'm a great Fab Four fan, best Beatles cover band.

  • Hi Growlyman. Please tell the guys they are super, without doubt the best iv'e heard.I saw them in Liverpool UK during the Beatle week 2008.Fantastic.

  • Growlyman, bravo on the guitar sound. I've now heard that sound twice once on the original and now here. It was always a mystery to me. And I've been at it a long time. Thanks.

  • please come to oklahoma i would pay big money to see the fab four!

  • Thanks , it's a great job !

  • John's guitar sound is exactly the same with the original. How do you guys make it like that ?Is this an acoustic guitar with sound effect ? Somebody tell me please..

  • It's a Gibson J-160E, just like John's. We use the electric pickup in it for this song, like The Beatles did. Then, the rest is engineering magic.

  • i never knew there were tribute Beatle bands until someone mentioned it to me this week...i get the LA weekly and my friend sees the fab four having a concert this month and february...ima go c them...just purchased the tickets for dec 27th...THEY ARE REALLY GOOD!!! wathcing the vids is pumpin me up...

  • just been to vegas from liverpool and they were a major highlight plus the george is a scouser

  • Seen them about six times. First saw them by chance at Disneyland many years ago. Was completely blown away.

  • This guy does the best 'John' I've ever heard.

  • The Fabs are performing in the correct key as the original song. Check it. They do sound good though!

  • Why are they playing this in the key of A instead of G like the original?

  • The J160e is detuned but capo'd. It's in the correct key.

  • yeah, it eases the tension on the strings making it a hell of a lot easier to play. It also comes in handy to slide the capo down a fret for songs where the guitar is in Eb such as Yellow Submarine and I'm Only Sleeping

  • Awesome! Great work guys!

  • God I just have to see them, hopefuly in LIVERPOOL!!!

  • well, they did perform in Liverpool, last August. I was in the city, but I couldn't catch them. =D sure they're great. The George is Liverpudlian.

  • I love these guys. :) Really awesome.

  • flawless--couldn't see any wrong

  • Thanks for posting The Fab Four's early set prior to their tribute to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band gig at the House of Blues at Downtown Disney, Anaheim, CA. Great show! Rock on mates!
