I disagree, I think the original ending is more apt. Sure, we feel empathy for the kiwi that can't fly but let's ask ourselves why? That's how he was designed. Would a similar clip on an Emu be as emotive? No, because the Kiwi is 'cute' and the emu is not. Should we not rather relish our differences.
