Can you help me find a realistic looking crawler KIT! About 200$ or maybe a little more? Like a nice ford, or dodge, something realistic. Please! Please please!
Nice stuff. Do you know what the differences are between the regular SCX10 Kit and the Honcho Kit....? I'm thinking about making the '72 Chevy Long Bed into a scaler and I think the Honcho would be a more appropriate wheelbase...
I know it has the truggy body and cage... but I'd probably just use the front bumper and get/make a rear one..... Does the original kit have bumpers or anything? I like your bronco, that's a nice truck.............
Well the regular kit doesn't have bumpers, The bodies are different, the honcho is has a 12.3" wheelbase, and the regular SCX10 kit has a 11.4" wheelbase. I'd just measure the 72 chevy body and go from there
@bayareaaxialcrawler The SCX10 is lighter and the suspension setup makes it a fun truck to drive. the X-trail has more ground clearance and It just seems to plow through/over everything easier. (I have changed a few things since the video). To answer your question... I like them both. I use them for different things. I only built the SCX10 for to replicate Ted Nugents Black Bronco.
Its a different truck, I just got it assembled. This is a SCX10 the other truck has an X-trail chassis from "the crawler store". Yes Its the same rock course, its in my backyard.

@44Tapout Sure, are you looking for a "kit" that you assemble or something that is ready to run with all the electronics?

I was just wondering.... Have you had any problems with the Hand Bros CMS kit?
I'm considering that upgrade on mine, but I'm worried it won't have as much strength on the trails.... Any problems turning or anything like that?
Awesome truck, by the way.
