I agree with TheBearHHH, low carb diets do not work long term. The work short term but the moment you go back to normal eating, your weight balloons back up to where it was. You do your workout beside a mirror, and it seems you do it there for a reason (different angles and perspectives on the workout), anyways you should adjust the camera position so that...
A) we can see all of you and your weights
B)we can see the whole mirror and your opposite reflection.
This could be helpful in doing your exercises correctly, but you cover it well.

When you do a Killer Ab Workout you've driven your abs to the limit, and in the next 5-7 days abs need time to recuperate. If you supply your body with at least 30 g of protein every 3 hours your abs will repair and grow in that time. If you exercise abs during that time you're stopping their growth by not letting them recuperate.
All youre vids are great except this one. Ur doing crunches REALLY bad. You use youre neck to pull up the weights. Something that proves that you are doing crunches wrong is that ur abs are very bad compared to the rest of youre body. Sorry mate, but this is a failure
No, I'm not using my neck to pull up the weights. My neck is totally relaxed and my head is resting on the weights just like its sleeping on a pillow. If you are using your neck to pull up the weights behind your head, then you are doing this exercise incorrectly and you will get injured. As I emphasize in the video, you should have zero strain on your neck if you are doing this correctly.

What is the point of the plank? Also, isnt it really bad for your elbows? I find that when I'm watching tv with my elbow bent like that even in my bed it hurts and cracks.

Is it OK to do more than 60min continuous cardio? Sure! I routinely do 2hr cardio (cycling), running (1hr), swimming (1hr) for my cardio. I'm not sure at what point more cardio is too much cardio for muscle gaining purposes but from what I have seen, its over 2hrs.
What to do if you have a roid (growth hormone) gut? Sorry, no idea. I actually dont know if there is anything that can be done other than avoiding it in the first place.

No, I didn't even know about Killer Ab Workout, I just did what Scooby said. I did 4 sets of crunches with weight, then I did 4 sets of crunches with weight just other type, then I did leg lifts with weight and another lower ab exercise with weight... In first two weeks I noticed a lot of changes and in the third week I realized I'm already starting to have abs in the sixth week I got six pack abs (a month and a week in total)...
Check your bodyfat percentage, mine was 8-9% last time I checked and I have perfect six pack... If your is 10% or more you need to drop your body fat percentage to 8% and at the same time workout Killer Ab Workouts. You will probably have abs very quickly, but to speed up your abs do other bodyparts too, and when you work abs work them hard and you'll get six pack very quickly...
rather than holding a weight behind your neck, outstretch your arms behind you as you do crunches, this increases intensity and is safe for your neck.

I do swimming (for the last month of cardio everyday and eating healthy I lost almost 7 kg). I want to prolong the time I spend on swimming. I will also add some basic home workout on Monday.

hey man... im 15 too and i work out pretty regularly so i might know what your talking about. Your left arm is probably not developed enough for it to go "in a ball". Did u just start working out? i think the solution is to work it out more so that way you get that definition your looking for. Try doing more reps on your left then on your right, and that way theyll even out. If any other problems exist, ask your weight training instructor at school or your spotter if u play sports. I have been bodybuilding on and off for years but i have become more dedicated for the last 14 months.I had surgery about 10 years ago on my abdomen and now my right abs overpower my left in size and anytime I try to do an ab workout.Medically my abs are sound and quite strong but do you have any suggestions about how to isolate my left abs to give them a chance to catch up? Hey gorey121, I would suggest working on ab control exercises. Do youtube search on "ab control". If you get to the point where you can flex the left side and the right side independently then you have got it licked. BTW, I cant do this :(

Again, there are no lower abs, it is one muscle, the rectus abdominis.
But yes, it is true that normally the abs recover faster. However, this video is designated for experienced bodybuilders and take the abs to their absolute limit. Therefore after this they need about as much rest as any other muscle.
there may be only one muscle, but it is still divided into several parts. lower abs need to be stimulated as well the same way your lower chest might lag if you do only incline bench press without doing flat or decline bench press.
My friend and I have been doing your crunches workout for awhile and it is doing great, but we want to understand more about lower ab workouts besides situps. Can you post a video explaining it or write back details?

I've been doing abdominal workouts for about 2 years and I really have the 8 pack definition. This is also probably because I run alot and thus have a low bodyfat percent. But I have a problem which I think you may of just addressed. I do all my Abdominal workouts with no weights and high reps (See 7 minute abs on youtube) and my definition is excellent but my abdominals aren't.. well big? Should I use weight when I do crunches and situps?

Just a quick question, the weight plates I have at home are a bit too big and don't have the olympic style EZ grip your one does. It also has a ridge in the middle where the hole is, so it's too uncomfortable to do crunches with. Was just wondering what the manufacturer of your plates are?

If your feet come up when you are trying to do crunches then you are probably doing sit-ups and not crunches. In crunches, the lower 1/2 of your back stays in constant contact with the floor.

well, i ain't no expert but one thing i know: you should NOT put your hands behind your head when you are doing Ab exercises. Why? It worsens your back, spine, whatever you want to call it.

im pretty skinny so i dont need to lose alot of weight. so i can do this workout 3 or 4 times and have abs?

No, I didn't even know about Killer Ab Workout, I just did what Scooby said. I did 4 sets of crunches with weight, then I did 4 sets of crunches with weight just other type, then I did leg lifts with weight and another lower ab exercise with weight... In first two weeks I noticed a lot of changes and in the third week I realized I'm already starting to have abs in the sixth week I got six pack abs (a month and a week in total)...

Check your bodyfat percentage, mine was 8-9% last time I checked and I have perfect six pack... If your is 10% or more you need to drop your body fat percentage to 8% and at the same time workout Killer Ab Workouts. You will probably have abs very quickly, but to speed up your abs do other bodyparts too, and when you work abs work them hard and you'll get six pack very quickly...

rather than holding a weight behind your neck, outstretch your arms behind you as you do crunches, this increases intensity and is safe for your neck.

Honestly Scooby, I need to really thank you, Your workouts have absolutely changed my life. I always wanted to go to the gym but never had the tools or the knowledge of how to best optimize my workouts. I just wanted to thank you for posting these videos and show people some amazing workouts that don't really take alot of time out of our day.

Hi Scooby since you probably missed my question on an older video I'll try asking here. Is it ok to do more than 60 mins of cardio continuously? I do swimming (for the last month of cardio everyday and eating healthy I lost almost 7 kg). I want to prolong the time I spend on swimming. I will also add some basic home workout on Monday.

first of all don´t f....ing call me dude ok boy.. as for scooby he should accept that he´s wrong period. I learned from people who studied sport in Uni. I will assume that they know more than scooby. An Engineer has no background in sport.

hey scooby,
im 15 and i do dumbells. I have a question, i do exactly the same amount of weights and reps on each arm but my left bicep doesnt go 'into a ball' when tensing but my right bicep does. Any suggestions on how to fix this or why this has happened?

hey man... im 15 too and i work out pretty regularly so i might know what your talking about. Your left arm is probably not developed enough for it to go "in a ball". Did u just start working out? i think the solution is to work it out more so that way you get that definition your looking for. Try doing more reps on your left then on your right, and that way theyll even out. If any other problems exist, ask your weight training instructor at school or your spotter if u play sports. Great videos man. I have been bodybuilding on and off for years but i have become more dedicated for the last 14 months.I had surgery about 10 years ago on my abdomen and now my right abs overpower my left in size and anytime I try to do an ab workout.Medically my abs are sound and quite strong but do you have any suggestions about how to isolate my left abs to give them a chance to catch up? Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Hey gorey121, I would suggest working on ab control exercises. Do youtube search on "ab control". If you get to the point where you can flex the left side and the right side independently then you have got it licked. BTW, I cant do this :(

i have a question SCOOBY . you stated that to get a bodybuilding ab you must do heavy weight and low reps and give 5-7 resting day is this right ?? then my question is for Bigger chest/back, and arms would you do the same thing ?? because i heard that to get bigger muscles do medium weights and 9-12 reps .. can you please help me out

Please see my website and click on "6-pack abs". The only way you can get rid of love handles is to reduce your bodyfat percentage. To do that, eat less and do more cardio. There is no other way, sorry.

btw great workout, but isn't it true that the abs recover much faster than the other muscles and are better off trained 2-3 times a week? also this routine doesn't target the lower abs. besides that this seems great. will try it soon.

Again, there are no lower abs, it is one muscle, the rectus abdominis.
But yes, it is true that normally the abs recover faster. However, this video is designated for experienced bodybuilders and take the abs to their absolute limit. Therefore after this they need about as much rest as any other muscle.

there may be only one muscle, but it is still divided into several parts. lower abs need to be stimulated as well the same way your lower chest might lag if you do only incline bench press without doing flat or decline bench press.

hmm question for anyone who can answer. If I have a 125g Chicken Breast that on the back of the box says 23g of Protein, when I cook it and it shrinks to about 95g is it still 23g of Protein? or that of a 95g breast

You are correct. The 125g chicken breast is 23g of protein and 102g water. When you cook it, only the water disappears, not the protein.

I've been doing abdominal workouts for about 2 years and I really have the 8 pack definition. This is also probably because I run alot and thus have a low bodyfat percent. But I have a problem which I think you may of just addressed. I do all my Abdominal workouts with no weights and high reps (See 7 minute abs on youtube) and my definition is excellent but my abdominals aren't.. well big? Should I use weight when I do crunches and situps?

great video as usual scoobs, presonally i've found the kneeling cable crunch to be most effective for me and my fav ab exercise, but i'm more into home workouts now and am truly inspired by your vids.
Just a quick question, the weight plates I have at home are a bit too big and don't have the olympic style EZ grip your one does. It also has a ridge in the middle where the hole is, so it's too uncomfortable to do crunches with. Was just wondering what the manufacturer of your plates are?

That brand of plates is made by Walmart, they should be available in any Walmart that sell fitness equipment (I have some of them myself).

If your feet come up when you are trying to do crunches then you are probably doing sit-ups and not crunches. In crunches, the lower 1/2 of your back stays in constant contact with the floor.

Am I a homosexual? In this enlightened era, people realize that athletic ability has nothing to do with sexual orientation so that cant be why you are wondering. well, i ain't no expert but one thing i know: you should NOT put your hands behind your head when you are doing Ab exercises. Why? It worsens your back, spine, whatever you want to call it.
