Young ethnic urban Americans invented a dance that started as an important element in the hip-hop culture. I give the kids overseas credit for keeping the culture alive and taking it to another level. They're good w/ the gymnastics but, for me it's hard not to appreciate the old school more.

rsc was a little bit too basic with their footwork in this battle. even though this battle was like back in 2005, i'm sure that footwork was at a high lever than that back then. It had to be. :P

When I was in high school I met Crazy legs. This was in the mid 80's when breakin was still big in the U.S. It was at the Devils Nest (night club)on Tremont Ave. The nest hot back then. Nobody in school believed me.
All in all, good battle. Rockadile is my dude with roadrunner footworks & do knock with that disco boogie Cher spirit is timeless. but they was up against some eastcoast bboys that eats cardboard with linoleum dressing on the side...
nuff said. the only dope routine BM/FF had was the 3 man set at 1:19. BM/FF did alright but not enough. They were very excited. Mad noisy. Cheerleaders on redbull. lol maybe they was happy that they was battling Crazy legs. The floorkid/crowd is not up on RSC like that. Too gutta for them. Bboys is that house dance swagga is more gentle for them.

I respect your opinion, but that facts remain it weren't for RC there would be no BM. It's just that simple. BM is good, just like football they got a lot of home field advantge. Not taking anthing away from BM at all. I like their style as well.
Well after seeing this video I'll say battle monkeys would make great cheerleaders. they were doing some difficult moves, but for the most part they were doing the simplest things and the crowd would go crazy especially when they do their group cheer finishes. Rock steady wasn't getting much love. How unfortunate,if it wasn't for rock steady those dudes wouldn't be dancing period for they wouldn't know a dam thing about b-boying let alone their over rated cheers.

I have seen this video several times and yes the BM had some great moves especially the blow ups and some new moves back then but RSC was solid. Don't let the biased crowd fool you. The battle monkeys did a better job at cheerleading their own moves which in turn got the audience even more into it. I like the BM...they represent the new jacks with their innovative moves but RSC put up a good show as well with their power moves which I didn't see BM do much of. Old skool vs. New Jacks

When I was in high school I met Crazy legs. This was in the mid 80's when breakin was still big in the U.S. It was at the Devils Nest (night club)on Tremont Ave. The nest hot back then. Nobody in school believed me.

nuff said. the only dope routine BM/FF had was the 3 man set at 1:19. BM/FF did alright but not enough. They were very excited. Mad noisy. Cheerleaders on redbull. lol maybe they was happy that they was battling Crazy legs. The floorkid/crowd is not up on RSC like that. Too gutta for them. Bboys is that house dance swagga is more gentle for them.

ok a battle is all about what the crowd and/or judges is lookin for...this battle the power was crowd pleasers .....ya if there was no rsc we might not be here but this is new age rsc first off.....second rsc will always focus more on rockin.....so honestly nowadays they suffer a lil in battles unless its strictly an uprock battle.....so for this battle clearly bm/ff took it.....big ups 2 both

battle monkeys none of them really had a complete package.
they for sure had better tricks but they didnt really try to listen to music. they didnt even really do footworks to the beat.
and powermoves one rsc guy had a better powermove than any of BM.
and all of RSC guys had Toprock-Footwork-Freeze/Power package.
and they were on the beat and they had cleaner execution.
BM just had better big cheerleader moves.

that 3 man set looked very dynamic and everything.
but rsc's 2man set i think was harder to hit simultaneously becuz it had more steps in it and had bigger jumping moves.

I respect your opinion, but that facts remain it weren't for RC there would be no BM. It's just that simple. BM is good, just like football they got a lot of home field advantge. Not taking anthing away from BM at all. I like their style as well.

Well after seeing this video I'll say battle monkeys would make great cheerleaders. they were doing some difficult moves, but for the most part they were doing the simplest things and the crowd would go crazy especially when they do their group cheer finishes. Rock steady wasn't getting much love. How unfortunate,if it wasn't for rock steady those dudes wouldn't be dancing period for they wouldn't know a dam thing about b-boying let alone their over rated cheers.

I have seen this video several times and yes the BM had some great moves especially the blow ups and some new moves back then but RSC was solid. Don't let the biased crowd fool you. The battle monkeys did a better job at cheerleading their own moves which in turn got the audience even more into it. I like the BM...they represent the new jacks with their innovative moves but RSC put up a good show as well with their power moves which I didn't see BM do much of. Old skool vs. New Jacks

This isn't about who the pioneers are, this is a straight up battle, and just by watching this video, the Battle Monkeys and full force crew not only beat RSC, they Spanked them badly. It wasn't even a contest, with the exception of EZ rock who is also from the West Coast siding with RSC, there wasnt a battle at all..New GEneration of Breakers which are dominated by the WEST Coast.
