  • Garnaut's angry at the federal government for their weak ETS. Imagine what Garnaut thinks of the economics of turning our food bowl into a coal mine when the global demand for coal is slowing.

  • It all seems so obvious. He could also mention the way the state government is spending over $30-billion to double coal exports by 2015. How stupid an investment is that? Who will want so much coal, once emissions targets kick in? What green technologies could we fund for that money? Or even half of it?
