@holdemstacy That's a great question! I would say that the best way to learn blues timing is to listen to great blues singers and sing along with them. Most blues vocal lines tend to start right after the first beat of the bar (Good Examples: 'Gypsy Woman told my mama' 'Before I was born' 'You Gotta Boy child comin' 'Gonna be a son of a gun' from Hoochie Coochie Man; the vocals to 'The Sky is Crying' or 'Stormy Monday Blues') Hope that helps :-)
