@TheBirthdayMan The guitar is a really nice well constructed intrument. Playablilty is 9/10, sound is 8/10, looks are 9/10. this is a great guitar for just about anything but you do have to turn the volume down to get a decent clean tone because they do distort on a clean setting. It stays in tune well which is what you would expect from grover tuners. only flaws for my taste is that the black chrome on the bridge and pickups fades into chrome. The finish has lines on it from possibly a bad prep

Most of dean dealers said that is rosewood because looks brown. I think too.

@demohilator its ebony. it has a lot more grain than rosewood and is darker too. check the dean website to confirm it
