  • I was stronger I was better Picked you out Now don't say a word No don't yell out Never mind Let you out Led you back Stay on Sit down Let it fall Let it fall Let it fall Let it fall
  • dond sale la vieja dl Thom???

  • This song is meant as a joke, he purposefully sung the song "Mumbling" and slurring his words, he is just saying that people can make millions just by singing Bullshit, as long as it has melody and sounds slow and sad. This band is just pure poetry and genius...you have to THINK about the song...or just enjoy it and dont pay attention to any meaning at all(which is how some people make millions)

  • dont u have to be dead to have a tribute? o wait thas a memorial....isnt it?

  • tribute is more like a salutation:)

  • Is this the kind of stuff his girlfriend gets to listen to all the time? Imagine walking in and he's just playing this, but I guess she must be used to it.

  • I would turn gay to hear this constantly. I hope it's not something you could get tired of.

  • @Cgrrp Lucky bitch...

  • lovely just fookin lovely.

  • I'd like to have a 2nd life just to listen to every song of Radiohead & maybe, only MAYBE, get to understand em... I'd better not try to .

  • prettyyyy sexy.

  • i love this... it helps to cope with my depression. makes me feel safe hearing his voice along side with the piano.

    long live radiohead.

  • yes, yes, yes!

I've been told to NOT listen to RH when I'm done cuz it would make it worse, but that's just so not true. It's not depressing music, it's beautiful and heart wrenching....and you are so right, it makes you feel safe.

  • I mean "Down" not "Done"

  • Thom bought one of those hand recorders. My guess is that he used it to record himself in case he came with some cool idea he could use later with the band.

So there is her girlfriend, washing the dishes. Thom starts playing with his piano... and comes up with this song.

Beautiful song. This is the story as most people know it.

  • 2:15 , the most beautiful image ever captured on film.

I do love this song though.

  • Oh, not to mention the toilet afterward hahaha. WHAT THE HELL!

  • im only 13,

    and i love radiohead

there the best band in the world.

this song made me cry at the end.

  • I was about that age when I started listening to them, I'm now 28, they're music for a life time.

  • Hermoso Lado B, te la dedico a ti mi hermosa inspiracion.

  • The last "let it fall" gives me goosebumps.

  • This video fits beautifully with the song, whoever made it, well done. This and the song are beautiful

  • i love this song!! my fav

  • the raw beauty in this song just gets to me every time i listen to it...

thom's voice + the piano is MAGIC :)

  • How can you put groceries away with this in the backround??? Surely you'd just want to stop and admire it!'

  • gabyrivera is right, the room this was recorded in was beside the kitchen and the sounds are his girlfriend Rachel putting away the groceries.

  • actually it was recorded on thom´s house and that 'snap' is his girlfriend putting away groceries i think...

  • i like how Radiohead strips things down

so that their music is so intense & full of emotion

  • I love how rough the song is. rumor is that it was basically recorded in Thom's garage, and that that *snap* sound in the background is his mother cutting vegetables.

  • he recorded it in his flat i think.

that sound is apparantly his girlfriend coming back from doing the shopping and putting the stuff away.

  • I don't know how she could have kept her mind on vegetable cutting with this beautiful music playing in the background

  • A truly excellent song... I have to say I didn't enjoy the video so much, but i admire the effort.

  • What a great song...

You can check my cover of it, on my channel!

    Martin

  • greatest song in the world. thom yorke i love you. im your biggest fan.

  • ya know i an 11 year old and i this is the one of the greatest songs ever and probably the greatest band that ever lived other than led zeppelin. thom yorke your god

  • this song has been writen 10 years ago man. Don't compare this beauty to crap like Evanescence please. Thom Yorke is the best!

  • man evanescence sucks ballz. she even copied zero(smashing pumpkins),smells like teen spirit(nirvana) theyre just a bunch of posers but i agree garbette

  • Wow, nice way to embaress yourself there pal.

  • The first time I heard this song I just started crying and couldn't stop. And I never knew why.

  • i hear ya

  • ....i wanna put this in a portable cd player, put the cd player in my trunk turned up loud, and drive around with the sounds of thom yorke's crying wherever i go

  • I just love this song.

    Martin

  • mmm. pretty.

  • waaaaait. but what is up with this video? It's ridiculous.

  • Yeh so is life?

  • yeah, well I suppose that's a possibility.

  • "The background noises in "How I Made My Millions" is Thom's girlfriend putting groceries away. Thom was slightly drunk while recording the song"

    Wikipedia.

  • this was recorded not drunk BUT it was recorded on a cheap little mini disc thing at his home, you can hear his girlfriend chopping something something up in the kitchen for dinner....true...

  • this is one of those songs that can make time stand still... simply stunning!!

  • He was allegedly drunk when he recorded this. How is that genius?

  • Comment removed

  • I don't get why Radiohead fans get all onion-skinned and overzealous when someone says something negative about their music. It's a matter of taste and you all should just chill.

  • how can you even go on youtube wen your drunk dude?

  • I'm drunk and I still spell better than you

  • listen to how good it is!

if he can perform that well while hes drunk, he must be amazing

i KNOW hes amazing, but im just makin a point

  • this song is pure genius. it's meaning makes my head explode, the title alone is genius. best is hearing his girlfriend rummaging around in the background. howdycaptain, your friend nailed it :).

  • Genius? How so?

  • one of the most beutiful songs i know. my friend reckons it sounds like a dying bloke at the end of the world finds a crappy old piano, no time for proper words just makes what he can as the last few minutes fade away. my friend is great

  • He played this live at a gig in Edinburgh which i went to - you could hear a pin drop in the audience

  • I know, why didn't he formulate it into something on one of the lps?

  • God

    his voice is so beautiful

  • gut wretchingly so.

  • Grates on my ears.
