nice bike! bro i recently got my 1st fixie it is a 1999 Author frame w 23 wheels im a newbie and wanted to ask u about the brake to put on these things mines didnt come w brakes so any standard v brakes would work? does it have to b "fixie specific" brakes to use on these bikes?
and i am 5'8" at best and my frame is 58cm! its a tad big for me but i seem to b ok riding it, will it b dangerous to ride a 58cm frame for a 5'8" guy? lol sorry for all the ?'s im learning as i go hehehe
im fixing a old benotto atm. about to color the frame from scratch. But, i think it will be mostly black. White (front) hard to keep clean when white?

Fixies are awesome. I came from bmx. Most people here in sydney have road bikes but also own a fixie! Clean is good. Has nothing to do with how much u ride idiots.
Thats why its white. So his mans milk doesn't stain when he creams himself all over it. And forgive me if I'm wrong, and also for being a pedantic prick, but that doesn't look like a fixed gear I'm afraid... Don't be ashamed of being a coaster.
