I agree skin isn't important in some situations but if you are incinuating that racism doesn't exist you are fooling yourself, some people do base who they interact with and allow to interact with them based on the color of their skin, is that ignorant YES but it is out there, and there is no getting around it. We can use love to counter act it but it will for ever be around lest we chose to ignore it in turn pushing us into a phase of TRUE ignorance.

I had to remind her that brown is deep colored not light. Tan and Beige is shades of brown, but it not actually brown. Oh I get what you are saying,in terms of people. But I what I meant was standard brown is just brown. In the crayola box, brown tan and beige exist as three different crayons (maybe named something different cause crayola love to romanticize everything lol). Every standard color has its variations of intensity I know. But if I ask my mom to buy me a brown shoe, I would be upset if she brings home a tan or beige shoe. Pink is a shade of red(a light red),but its pink not red. You see what I meant?
