those aren't painted nails, nor did she paint the nail caps. You can easily buy nail caps in different colors. They're used to keep the cat's nails from actually doing damage to furniture and skin. Read the descrip,people =P

One of my Kittys talks like Jupiter too!! It's the cutest. She meows perfectly well when she wants to but she has a whole range of vocalizations like "achk" and "clik-click-clik", and a more softer version of her meow that is more like "mmmmmrrrrrrrrrrrr...." When she is just holding a conversation she uses her full vocabulary, but when she wants to make a point she wallops me with a bold, bright, sharp "MeeeeOOOWWWW!!" I Luvz my Kittehs!!

@allturdmind They are little caps you stick on your kittie's claws so they don't scratch your furniture, each other or you. Also they don't get stuck to things like furniture (again) & carpets. (I call this "Velcro toes") You used to only be able to get them at the vets & pet salons but you can get them at Wal Mart now too & they come in colors & prints. They are safe for the cats & less stressful than clipping their claws if the cat's not used to that. Much more stylish too!!

Infact, all six of mine make such different, distinct sounds that we can tell them apart just by listening to their voices. The "chattering" element in Jupey's voice is one cats make when very excited, mine usually make it when watching birds from the winow or when watching the laser. And lol at your poor Puss. She has a lot to say!
