I grew up a black gay kid in the hood. I couldn't wait to see this show every week in hopes that these guys where on. When you grow up feeling awkward and ashamed of who you are sometimes you need something or someone to make you feel normal. These guys were it for me. I was never offended by these guys being straight and playing these parts. I appreciate them for just being there and adding humor to a very serious taboo in the black community. People being gay. Thanks Dave and Damon u saved me.

This was the best show to work on. Jim Carrey was up and coming but we ll knew he was gonna be a star. Damon and all his brothers where always cool. I played the guy spotting Damon on the bench press. They called me back after they used me on the Men On Cooking bit. 1992-93 I'm guessing.
