Well, you ave some scenes of the Mojave Desert in this video, but you have none of the sounds of the Mojave Desert. Tell me: What does this techno music soundtrack have to do with the Mojave Desert? It belongs more to a club in LA on a Saturday night than it belongs in a video about the desert. What a cliche.
@bapyou I second that...I grew up in the Mojave desert...it is SILENT at night...till you hear the wildlife. an experience that is unlike anything the city folk know, in fact they are to uncomfortable in it.
@bapyou I have heard a snake crawl on the ground at almost 50 yards or better, cant tell you exactly how far, but it was pretty far, you can hear a beetle walk on the ground at these distances as well. At night you can see the sky as clear as if you were in it, but the heat was a hard to get used to thing. I know all the secrets to survive the heat now, but hard learned.I dont know if I call it lucky, I do however know that in the desert I grew up in, there is far more beauty than meet the eye.
@bapyou I agree 100%Did Sonyarose8 bring a DJ setup out to the Mojave? Was there flashing lights, alchohol, and "Booty Shakin'"with the Joshua Tree's?The speedy picture editing is also irritating. Most who experience the desert enjoy it's silence and solitude. Not for a "Night at the Roxbury"
@gebass6 Animoto turns "your photos" into a video slideshow. Beside, everybody sees the desert a different way, acc. to their life experience. I was misdiagnosed/undiagnosed for yrs from a biowarfare pathogen. You can't imagine the hell that I was going through... We must keep an open mind when it comes to what's lurking in nature, esp the desert. Ask the men coming back from the war--what they feel? If everyone would share my pt of view or see the way I do, the world would be one boring place.
@bapyou Techno music is influenced by futuristic themes. Relevant to American life... Do you see anyone in the photos? Do you see any signs? How does the song begin? -- "Time to see the truth... Time to see your fate..." How far down the rabbit's hole did I go since these shots were taken.... a good bit. Besides, I've never been to a club in LA. I spent the majority of my time researching, exploring... seeking medical attn.; so that I can get stronger & get back...
@bapyou I'm inclined to agree, these shots are very wonderful, but the music just does not flow with the photography. A better suited background song would be more country-style.
Either way, I can't wait to experience the Mojave for myself in two weeks (:
I've always wanted to see the Joshua Trees in person since U2's "The Joshua Tree"; and come to part of the world -- where some of the best movies were and still are made ... Have a beautiful day...♥

@jojojr2 Yeah man. You are lucky to have grown up in the desert. The silence out in the middle of nowhere at night is epic. And the stars.
Cheers.
