I have whole discog of DT till Octavarium, all SYL records and Death's ITP with Gene and still think dude in the video is amazing. He plays that crazy dnb things I thought wasn't possible without splicing samples on computer AND can kick ass metal way as well. I can't say I've seen another drummer doing such stuff.

Jason certianly changes it up a bit. Portnoy, Hoglan and Vinnie Paul have a higher profile which has a lot to do with reverance. I would like to see Jason drum in a straight up metal band, or a really progressive band because the limited footage there is of him only shows us a little of what he can do I'm sure.
