  • ...The Music is DOPE!!!....

  • i like the artificial waterfalls...so cool and refreshing to the eyes. keep up!

  • I could not agree less to what the narrator said. "HIS DESIGNS ARE SIMPLE YET ELEGANT"... I love his works.. :)

  • @iampeeay01 dont you mean "i couldnt agree more3? <.<

Since you did say you love his works o.o

  • could be longer,

  • Cool and amazing. Indeed, they have Great minds and Exceptional works!

  • it's very cool... thanks a lot off for you guest..

  • i respect him coz of hardships he faced in life throughout his career

  • you really kill me!

I love these videos..but seeing these designs and all makes me feel so desperate! :D its like i can never even have half of this creativity! aaahhhh!!

  • Kahn's work were all a beauty, but his private life was sad and a mess. still, one of my favourite architects .. Louis Kahn!

  • I could sit and cry tears of amazement looking at his buildings! I recently went to the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, TX (the building at about 1:33) and there are simply no words to describe it! His methods of utilizing light were and still are unrivaled. His work definitely is the most inspiring to me as an aspiring architect. Also, Doug, you inspire me! Your creativity pours out in your videos! and I love your sketches! It's great to see someone talking about what they love to do on here!

  • Great video! So filled with creativity! I hope to become an architect, so I hope I am as great at the people you mention! :D

Btw this is off topic but, what song is in the background? It saounds awfully familiar....

  • whats the song used in the video! and great video! I want to major in architecture and You have truly inspired me to study more about and draw everyday!!!

  • @xphungsiwax the song is part of apple's iLife. You can only get it by purcasing a mac.

  • la fuente que merca el eje mas importante de este proyecto fue una colaboracion de luis barragan... arquitecto mexicano ganador del premio pritzker

  • did you forget that he is the master of light? he use to control it. (yeah really)

p.s. kimbell art museum is the best ever!! :)

  • Frank lloyd wright= stanley kubrick

    Louis Khan= alfred hitchcock

  • Wow, this guy is great!

  • nice video doug! i like your clear voice when you talk- its so awesome!

  • i had a chance to read his writing, and the man is very poetic! His buildings are compelling in a spiritual way i thought

  • eh, the only one I liked was the library, but only on the inside. Although the cement helped you focus on the building geometric form....I feel the concrete also made the buildings look very shoddy and unfinished. simple...but elegant is not a word I would use to describe this.

  • 1:34 boobs?

  • @Cupnoodlesz what??

  • @Cupnoodlesz really now?

  • @Cupnoodlesz nope, architecture :)

  • Kahn's buildings have such an incredible quality.

A side note: Luis Barragán designed the water fountain in the Salk Institute.

  • So pretty :D

  • Woow nice Khan

  • i love these series! may it never end :D
