@Alphastyx7 it tends to have a sound like that because of the resonance between the close proximity strings (think sitar which is main strings lying on a bed of strings)... plus its not that easy to tune lol

@lftbass2 at 1:43 you can see what appears to be a split between the two halves of the soundboard. i'd say the bracing isn't quite enough.

i also wonder about the tuning. the same notes are tuned similarly "out" on two different places on the guitar...sounds like it's meant to not be a completely relaxing tapestry of notes, but instead to have some tension. Or maybe they both got detuned by roughly the same amount by temp change... :)
