tarvaris jackon is lookin sharp in the preaseason. hes not sick but is lookin good. he can lead us to a good season and if he doesn't then kelly holcomb can step up and play. troy williamson isnt dropping passes in the preaseason and hes gonna be a good deep threat. sidney rice is lookin okay and bobby wade is lookin good 2. so he has some receievers to rely on and he has adrian peter and chester taylor.

Daunte does suck now. He had some great years with Minn. but he's washed up and done for the most part.

I don't know why you think Tavaris will be the next Daunte. Daunte had a much better arm, and Tavaris has better scrambling ability.  The only similarities between Daunte and Tavaris are that they both have played QB for the Vikings and they are both black.
