I know Van is at least bi, he's dating a guy right now and seeing stuff like this makes me wonder if Jake and him weren't involved at the time they played Luke and Noah. Whichever they were obviously good friends and had a lot of fun together.  Jake even said in one interview that Van was a good kisser (they were both asked that question), so even if he's not gay, he's very secure with who he is which makes him even more attractive
