lol, this is a way to make you read the effen manual (which comes with the Hacker Pack). So read it! You find the answer in the manual.

When i open the hack-ace.cmd

It says

file "sc" is missing or corrupted

Your PC Windows ENU is damaged and should be repaired.

At least one default system file is missing, corrupt

or the Windows PC env has otherwise comprpmised.

The hack kit quits before damage is done to your phone.

@6HARIS you don't HAVE to root but if you did you would be able to flash the latest roms to your phone, therefore upgrading your device to the latest Android versions (2.3.5/ 2.3.7 or even 4.0.3 ICS)...visist XDA.com

pls. help! I just did the hacking, according to the video. I (the program) did the downgrading, cause I had the 3.12.405.1 version. After it I start the "hacking" part, it runned down really fast (less the 5 minutes), but my pnone showing only a white background with the green htc sing, and doing nothing right now.

What can be the problem?? Is it still "booting" or "working" or it simply just froozed??

For those asking, I have just used the Ace Kit to successfully S-OFF / root a DHD running 2.3.5 with Sense 3. It requires you to downgrade first, which is also automatically detected and executed by the Ace Kit. Excellent stuff!

For anyone struggling with the passkey. Delete the last digit of the key, then re-enter it. Especially if you've used copy and paste. I struggled for hours trying to get the key to work. Found this tip on another forum somewhere, and it worked straight away for me.

Remember guys, the "PASS KEY" is in tools/txt/CAJUN.txt.

Copy and paste that code into command window and you're in.

Does not work for me. I installed the drivers, but when I run hack-ace.cmd I get an error saying "file "tasklist" is missing or corrupt".

Tried on a different PC which then showed me a list telling me to "stop watching TV, enter PASS KEY" which apparently is shown in CAJUN.txt - entered it and pressed Enter, then received error saying "Read the effing-manual".

What am I doing wrong? Phone was in Charge-only and had Debugging enabled.
