there is diffirence from what that mp3 was converted from, i had old scooter album downloaded, all files were 320bit, then i converted same album, from cd to mp3, to 320bit and there was noticeable quality diffirence. sorry for my lousy english. but its a good reciver.

sounds pretty good on my end. and for all those people with a stick up their ass, mp3's can be good quality despite being a lossy format. sound quality comes from how it was recorded. in most cases, you'd need really high end gear to bring out the limitations. so stop being a picky bitch, sit your ass down, and enjoy the music for a change.
@xicot86 The pioneer receiver decodes Mp3 back to lossless sound...one of its main features....Even compressed audio such as WMA, MP3 and AAC is enhanced with Advanced Sound Retriever, by filling in areas where minute details were left out during the compression process.
@clarkinusn Denon make the same thing (is called restorer in that brand) but really is never going to sound like WAV again, the chips can try to "imagine" what sounds must be in the erased frequencies but that is no the original sound, there is no substitute for quality and in music formats that is WAV or SACD
