In the Declaration of Independence, the Founding Fathers expressed noble sentiments of equality and basic rights of the "People." It is a sad commentary on our Nation that these rights were extended to non-human business entities, such as corporations, before they were extended to Women, Blacks, Asians, and other genuine human beings. It is time for us to live up to those noble words, and make our Country truly a Democracy.
