Still amazes me how long Abbey National used the same music from its 1970s ads - these days, of course, almost all the demutualised former building societies not owned by the government are owned by Santander.
Horrible, horrible, *horrible* Nescafe ad here.

I can't believe how short that ad break was. Was that cut?

I don't think so. Ad breaks in Countdown were often quite short.
