True, but some concepts they talk about appears in eastern philosophies. For example, transmigration is inferred. The concept is properly and fully delineated in the vedanta sutras only.
Western esoteric organizations such as the Rosicrucians often draw from Vedanta, and they credit vedanta sutras.
I dare say Scientology borrows as well but do not cite vedanta as a source.

There is nothing wrong with sourcing from vedanta sutra so long as one is understanding the meaning and intent of such knowledge. Scientology, the philosophy, does not appear to properly accommodate such concepts. The contradictions that appear is the indicator, that the philosophy is fashioned for some mundane purpose.

Such an absurd notion to claim one's capabilities are "infinite" for if that were the case, one would never ever have fallen under the influence of material laws at any point of ones existence. One would not be striving towards a higher state of being, thus one would not have to pay Scientology to achieve an enlightened state.
