People begin using drugs for different reasons. Everyone has their own background and reasons for deciding to use drugs. Not everyone grew up the same and were treated the same or even have the same brain chemistry. Humanity as a whole has always wanted to alter their reality and consciencness in one way or another and humanity always will. From getting a caffeine to alcohol, marijuana or even heroin and meth, there will always be a portion of humanity that will do some sort of drug.
methanphetamines is used in the air force to keep their pilots alert. I personally feel that any synthetic drug or man made drug you should stay away from. If it is natural like marijuana or mushrooms be very careful with them
everyone knows what happens when they start doing drugs....they don't deserve any sympathy they should just take an overdose. society would be getting rid one of its many problems. 85 percent of drug user's do not want to stop i qoute '' i just like getting high''
All these potheads want Congress to legalize the drugs. But these drugs are costing public health millions. Meth-mouth is forcing prisons to spend fortunes on dental care. Pot users are more likely to get lung disease and heart attack.
Keep in mind, you don't know what went into the meth, nor what was used to grow the pot. You could be inhaling the fumes of pesticides, solvents, etc.
when your on meth you feel like nothing could bring you down, but please dont do it. i was a addict for 2 years, and i went to rehab. i had a relapse but i am finally sober. i lost everything when i was on it, and now its taking alot to get everything back. but i wont, its horrible.
meth was originally made in japan by Nagayoshi Nagai. it was supposed to be given to kamikaze pilots. so its basically a suicide drug meant to be taken one time. if you're not dead by the time of your first high, you're basically screwed over
This show really portrays how truely horrible meth is. It's not very well edited though... from a filmmakers point of veiw, this could be a lot more powerful.
What about people who were "strong" enough not to do drugs in the first place? Honest people who work for a living? They should be even more proud. People who do drugs should not be proud, it's shameful. Stopping drugs is just going back to being a normal person instead of a parasite on the tax payer, it's NOT an achievement.
One should not talk because it could happen to you and then what! Everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance! We should not judge because we never know what the future brings! Proud to be clean and sober 3 1/2 years from drugs and alcohol!
Way to go...as someone that was a user and Worked for a living while doing it i'm now clean and sober 6 years as of March 14th. People that have never done it have no idea what type of accomplishment it really is to actually quit.
okay so when ur children start doing meth at the age of 14 and try their hardest to quit for 15 yrs and when they finally do what are u gonna do turn ur back on them. if u knew anything about the drug scene u would know it is an extreme accomplishment u pompous ass
I'll tell you why these people deserve their pride for quitting. Because they were naive or pressured when they started. These tweakers usually come from disfunctional or neglectful families, are bullied in school, etc. "Normal Strong People" are lucky to have good homes. And it's nothing to goff at to sober up. It kind of sickens me how cold you are. Feel some sympathy, dipshit.
I agree with most of what you are saying, but i mean if get sucked into drug use and quit, yes you should be proud, its an achievement. I've never done drugs, so i dont know how hard it is to quit, but i know its easier saying no in the first damn place than it is quitting. If its peer pressure, well i dont talk to those people ever again. Too much to lose.
Obviously you know nothing about addiction. i happen to have been addicted and i didn't take from the so called tax payers...i had a damn good job and stayed with it even while using. You bet your ass i'm proud that i quit. That takes more courage and strength than to be what you call "normal" Grow the fuck up and learn your facts before you post comments about a topic you know nothing about. People like you are pathetic.
Big words for a man that is so ignorant. Drugs are everywhere man. wake up and realize that its not character or strength. Im sure if you used you would be on the street in a second.
I just found out that my ex is doing meth. Once, he called me when he was high and I was thinking that he was drunk. He didn't remember a thing of what he said 2 me until a week later when I mentioned it 2 him. He lost a lot of friends from meth but he says he doesnt care. I wish I could help him but he doesn't want 2 b helped. He's in denial. He says he only did it 3 times but but claims that he can quit anytime. 2 me from what I have read about meth, once is enough to keep you hooked.
Cut off contact. Drug users start for a reason. This person is flawed and you don't want to suffer because of it. Don't try to help them. They deserve no sympathy.
This stuff is bad news but the good news is there is hope, I made it and so can others.
I took my life back and its great, I have hobbies again, I am no longer paranoid of everyone,Everyday that goes by I feel better, I gain strength from the Lord.

I think every school should be required to show one of these on all of the major addictive drugs.

Maybe if you still want to help him you could tell someone he loves and loves him like maybe someone in his family?

The best way to help an addict is not to help them. They won't realize their own rock bottom if loved ones provide insulation
