This game is sick. I hit 26 HR with Manny in the HR Derby at SF. Also, the graphics is sick. MVP Baseball sucks. I rule at this game. Jaqua524 U SUCK ASS.

this game sucks, i play the worst team, get max out becket's pitching stats, and let up 11 hits in 4 innings, i strikeout everytime, and lost 6-0, with all the gamplay sliders all they way up. WORST BASEBALL GAME EVER. ITT SUCKS
I think the best baseball game for ps2 isnt MLB the show or MLB 2k7, but i think it's the MVP, the only not good thing about MVP is because it is NCAA and not MLB...
does this game use the anolog stick or the x button for the hit and do u celabrat the home run with fist smacks and is there any umpires in the PSP vertion

MLB07theshow, too bad thats not true. if it was igawa wouldnt be playing either. Although this is a really nice game , i think matsuzaka should have been in it.
i got this game & the strange thing is dey have daisuke matsuzaka under da name tate baik & da name can be edited 7 & dey have barry bonds under da name reggie stocker & da name cannot be edited.
Hey Dan...sorry I haven't been on here in a while. As for the absence of Matsuzaka & Bonds, both of those players are left out of every game made this year. Matsuzaka is a new player to the league and so he's not a member of the MLBPA until he plays his first major league game. Bonds is also a non-MLBPA player. As such, Bonds cannot be included in any licensed game by the MLBPA until he becomes a participating member. Hope this helps clear that up for you.
thats in the old one 2...06..you play with only your guy.you get no control of trading or lineup..just play your guy and build yourself up..they should let you keep your number in this one tho..on the 06 one your number changes if someone on the team already has it
i have 2k6 and the show 06..and the show is alot better but thats last years so i cant really speak for this years games but usually the games will stick to the same idea each year just update rosters and add something that isn't all that big..id go with the show

it is where you only play your own guy sort of like in madden 07.
