all staged,the lambo could of easily take over m5 from left..he head enough space and this kinda opportunity revel to any racer they would not think twice before making the move..so i think its stage, all the show are stage so as this one..i use to respect tsuchiya then i found out that he show up to event but dont do much work....like in i believe 98 or 99 le mans in de la sarthe..with Toyota gt one, two driver was doing all the work on #2 gt one

@AltronZero the reason bmw's are so expensive over there is because of import taxes, and as for the nissan altima compared to the base 3 series i dont know where you get your info from but the bmw is more economical, yes its more powerful coz its a 3.6 v6 and its actually made in usa not japan

@paulturton27 From what I've red, the Altima 3.5L v6 sedan CVT is around 2 mpg better than the 328i. Then why would BMW not let the Americans build their cars for NA instead of having them us to import it to the dealer? My friend's got an Altima 2008 2.5L i4 though, the car has around 175k km on it and never he had Engine or Tranny problems, yet it was built in NA, stated by you. What, the Germans thinks the American would build Crap out of their models? And don't get me started on your Jaguars.

@AltronZero well everything i have read says different, the bmw is actually slightly better than the nissan. would you want the americans to claim somethin thats yours? look at what they have done with honda - acura, toyota - lexus, nissan - infinity and noble - rossion. the gemans and most other euro car companies dont want other ppl building their cars, i know i wouldnt. and as for jaguar, they are a executive car and not made to be cheap affordable economical cars.

@paulturton27 Acura, Infiniti etc is a Division giving the "Luxury" image for the customers who are looking for a "Luxury" car. I would find it unfortunate if the refined Acura RL had the Honda badge and it would be in the same line of Production as the Low class Civic. The Honda s2k is a better performance car, better looking and less expensive than the BM z4, but them old people prefer the BM because of the "Luxury" image it's giving, the BMW badge and the "luxury" look.

@AltronZero Since the s2k is a Honda, there's nothing "Luxury" or snobby about it because it's a commoners car automaker. I am amazed how the people prefer buying some nothing special Euro cars than their own domestic cars. I see a tad more BMs than a Cadillac and Chrysler combined and the only american super car we've got, the Saleen S7 @ 400k $ is neglected by some "Ferr-a-scrap" @ plausibly higher price-tag.

But it seems you Europeens have too much pride in your crap, which might be more or less the same crap as ours, that you had to make things your way. But it doesn't matter, the people are "derp" enough to buy them BMWs even if they cost ~5K more than the domestic in most cases.

What I did was comparing two different cars that shared the safe quality, function etc. only to prove that BMW isn't worth it for what the other automakers has to offer for a better price tag and that BMW and Merc isn't anything special, yet I just dont get the NA buyers.

Though he/the translation is probably referring to the use of iron (which is kinda close to steel), aluminum is getting more and more popular and is pretty darn light for an engine block.
