A few mo back, a neighbor across the street offer to buy me food with her food card if I took her shopping. I declined, b/c it felt weird! I gave her a ride though. A few mo back, a neighbor across the street offer to buy me food with her food card if I took her shopping. I declined, b/c it felt weird! I gave her a ride though. Another time she offered me twice the amount of food for cash,I said no, & felt bad since we were neighbors. I gave her diapers, wipes, toilet paper - which she insisted she needed. People pay tax in a way that's fairly proportional to their income.Average illegal from Mexico has a 5th grade education. Anchor babies born to these families , are welfare, food stamp babies.The amount of money spent by taxpayers from birth to 18 on fed/ state programs education , food programs at school. @carsiotto -What is an indigenous Mexican? They were indigenous people who were colonized by the Spanish and no longer worship their original faith, speak the original language, or maintain the same diet. The indigenous people that lived in what is now the United States are closer to extinction than removing the descendents of the people that created the United States.

The difference between Mexicans and the Lakota is that because of conquests, mexicans (Mexica Tribe) speak spanish and lakota speak english. Thats pretty much it.

@carsiotto Why would a Lakota only be speaking English? To answer your question in regards to Lakota, one would have to account for why this person or people changed? Was by choice or force? Lakota's still have their native language. Many choose not to use it. The people who were indigenous to what is now Mexico don't know their native language. They were forced to learn Spanish and adopt Spanish names. The Spanish (from Europe) made them assimilate. The Lakota were encouraged to assimilate.

@Stagman Ever heard of Nahuatl? Its an indigenous ancient language that is still used in many parts of mexico. So some still do practice their native tongue.2 million actually use it. Its the most widely spoken indigenous language in all of america. Its obvious that your mouth is bigger than your brain. Do some research. The Lakota were also forced. Ever heard of boarding schools? @carsiotto -Yes I have heard of them and I know that the Mexican government see them as a minority group implying that most Mexicans are not of that group. They were being attacked and murdered it was all over the news. The Lokota did go to boarding schools but they still have their language and many of their customs. They may not be able to roam the plains hunting Buffalo, but they know that they aren't European because they can also speak english. Stop changing the subject. You are wrong.

If you are not a citizen, then you need to get out! Why be open to new ideas when there is nothing wrong with the old ones? In this case, besides the lack of enforcement and anchor babies trying to be rewarded for occupying our country, there is nothing wrong with immigration policy. It works for millions every year.

@carsiotto What does this have to do with the United States. The native people of Mexico lost their land to the Spaniards. Mexico independent of Spain but also not a nation indegenous to North America lost the Alamo. Mexico was created by Spain. The retention of the western portion of the United States has nothing to do with the Mayans, Aztecs, or Inca's and any other sub groups. Learn U.S. history.

Mexicans even the ones that are mixed, are decendants of the Mexica, the Mayan, the olmecs, so many different groups of people. @Stagman First of all, educate yourself. Hispanic is a term created in the 70's to identify native americans from the south that spoke spanish. Hispanic comes from the word Hispanola, which is a reference to the terrritory known as present day spain. So mexicans speak spanish...so? Northern native americans speak english. @carsiotto Hispaniola is the Island that Haiti and the Dominica Republic share. Mexicans were colonized by Spain. Northern Native Americans for the most part were not integrated. Most choose not to speak their native language if they don't speak it. The U.S. used one or several of the Native American languages during WW2 . The Japanese couldn't understand what was being said. I'm sure that they would have a translator that could understand Spanish. There is a difference. You have no point.
