  • Nice video Markus, I need to do this quickly before mine start to grow. One thing you didn't mention though...I'm assuming that the canes that begin to have their bark go grey and peel away are just totally cut out becaus they died or are possibly the canes that have already fruited twice correct?

    No the peeling is normal with raspberries, those are not dead branches. But you are correct, you cut them out after they fruited the second time. You could also leave them, but the fruit quality is always best on the newer shoots.
