i am new to the hobby...have two powered switches and about 150' of flex track as well as some curves ,and so on. My layout space is 26' long including approx. 38" x 44" at one end and 4" x 44" at other end...18" shelf made out 3/8 plywood connecting both ends....now I have to make a design a layout....with limited money....this is some great instruction....you really have me dreaming
question for you ... where do you get the PCB strip to cut for the ties?

I think not enough was filed from the top frog rail but excellent recovery with the bottom frog rail.
