it is much quicker if you cut the hole first assemble the the plate to the rails on the ground then slide the whole assemble thru the gap between the bed and frame.
After instalation how do you keep the ball from coming out? I saw at the end of the video you just pulled it out and fliped it over is there something there to keep it in place so when your going down the road it don't fly up and you loose your trailer? Thanks.
@JonathanGuenther If you look at the image of the product at the beginning or end of the video you will see the red-handled rod coming of the goosneck to the left. Pulling this out release the ball. When pushed in, it slides through the hole in the ball keeping it in place. If you watch at the very end of the video, our installer pulls the rod out, releasing the ball, so that he can pull the ball out of the rails.
