I've aquired a 35. The trouble is it has been badly repainted with 35x decals, however everything else says fe 35. the serial number is 373 616.

Hi see you rebuilt that tractor could you or anybody else answer my question. Im looking at a ford 333 (3000) but the pto wont engage and you can turn it by hand. Any idea whats wrong.

Theres any nomber of things that could be wrong with it, if the tractor has a duel cluch it could be the second part has burn out, it could be that the pto shaft has been shierd of inside the tractor, or it could be the pto trasmition has faild. as I say, there are meny things that could have gone wronge here, the only way you going to find out is by dismalting the tractor, checking the cluch, if the chuch is ok, dismatle the gear box and final drive, good luch. the MF-35 was probably the best utility tractor in history, can use a 2 or 3 furrow plow with no problem at all and the engines can take a harsh beating and still push out
