Actually, it wasnt Breyers fault on S Justadream. Because I looked in my book of breeds and it says that Arabians are supposed to have a flat knee. So I think maybe the judges mistakened the horse. Breyer did a fantastic job on trying to be realistic. Like, S Justadream would have gotten like Highly Commended if it wernt for that fat leg. So, Breyer did nothing wrong. The fat leg is just a quinsidence. :)

@416tayjay i agree because if you look at her other knee its flat too (i have her so i can look really close) and on my model her hoof is the right size but to mee it does look like her leg is a little chuncky. :)

@horseluvr63 There is a limitless amount of Breyers. But if you are showing over 9 or 10 models, your going to have to need a booth which are EXTREMELY expensive! But its worth it. The shows are mostly in Lexington Kentucky at Breyerfest. How you enter is still a mystery to me. Lol! But thats really all I know, :)

@horseluvr63 Yes. You can show customs with a scenery and without. Booths are most likely to range from $90-$100 for showing. Dont worry about the models getting broken or scratched. The judges dont pick them up. And if your showing a horse single (without a scenery) I would highly recomend checking over each and every horse so none of them are suffereng from warping legs and other points of the horse. The judges basically look for beauty, perfect conformation, and....

there have been 4 roan thoroughbreds in the past, all descendants of catch a bird (brindle stallion), but most died as foals. Still, well done? are you going to BMECs this year? I am!!

I think live shows are so fun, I really wish they had more where I live. I've been to 3 before. :) But my personal feeling on them is if you decide to invest more money into the hobby then you are a "better" competitor than other people... unless it's a cm or performance division, that's sort of different. Plus it's almost pure luck with what you get because judges can be subjective and have different views on breeds, models, and molds they like.

They all have that problem as they were sculpted badly. She won't place well, because anatomically she wouldn't "work" if she was a real horse. Anatomy is the main focus in judging, if the anatomy is incorrect or poor, then the likelihood of placing is out the window.

I took her to a LIVE SHOW in Feb, And she got overall champion and a NAN card for her class. I was like "SQUEE! :D"

Yeah, I had a look. Definately not a Victrix or a Valor sorry. I can tell straight away by the build and conformation...Also, you'll never find even an unpainted version of Victrix/Valor under $200.

She's Pretty though...I know pretty much all the resin TBs, and I can't find anything like her in the "Artist" resin list... I think she's a customised OF resin.

Of course you can still show her though. I'd say maybe 75% TB, 25% Appaloosa Sport horse?

@barmingirl It showing it depends on the judges. Although having a horse with no rubs or scratches is also requried. You can beat out other people with same model if yours has better markings, shading, or less scratches and rubs. I hope this helped! and good lucck with showing!

Well, they don't judge by "prettiness" of the model, it has to anatomically work like a real horse would. I'd love to show my Esprit, however he has terrible conformation issues...so much so that if he was a real horse, it's likely that he's have a dislocated shoulder.

Also it completely depends on what breed you show the horse as, so you'll have to do all your colour genetic research too.

@OtakuHorseLover go to NAMHSA if u liv in the US, and click on one of the find a show links. These are open shows, not novice and they qualify your model to go to regionals if u place 1st or 2nd.
