i spent 2 years at FL studio and i could do practicily everything... but only now i found out that i cant work with multiple midi's at the same time.. shit shit shit. Thanks for tutorial man, i hope i'll handle it cuz it's hard to make idm/hard idm/breakcore on 180-440 BPM and fit rythm with synthesizers and other stuff working with midi one by one
Thanks for this tutorial, really got me excited for using the program! Since FastTracker it's the first tracker software who's GUI feels comfortable to me.
@litlekarim33 You're using an older version of Renoise, this tutorial was made with version 2.5. You'll be able to find the Edit Step next to the BPM and Speed settings in the top left of the interface.
@CapTainBuckAHOE Probably best to sample this or you can try drawing a click sample in the sample editor. You could try adding a band pass on any instrument to help sell the effect.
btw: very cool decking tutorials..... i like it...

InternalMind 4 months ago
Does this Tutorial apply to the latest version of renoise too? Thanks
InternalMind 4 months ago
this would be easier if it was updated for 2.7....especially seeing how there isnt any filters in 2.7.

Most tutorials n workshops are annoying and boring, because of too much facts replay und senseless talk..
but you re going very straight through all functions
you have a talent to maximize infos in a small amount of time :)

How do I press Zed? If I could yell "Hold It!" at a Metal Demon, I wouldn't need to make music because my life would be complete...
(This will only be funny if you're familiar with the Ace Attorney and Wild Arms games)
