  • HAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!

  • great!!!!!!

  • It a Mac DS!

  • What nds emulator do you use?

  • Funny how random users make hype out of simple ports of existing PC software... Porting an emulator to DS like this is pretty trivial, since all kinds of tools (such as PALib or SDL for DS) are available and generally such emulators are easily portable

  • DOES THIS WORK FOR GnM?????????????

  • yep

  • watch my vid on how to doi it on comp

  • POST LINKS PLS

  • there is no C on the DS

  • omg... i sound pretty supid...... :D

I pressed c though and it called me an asshole

  • Too bad none of the games I actually want to play work on Desmume. It's crap. I CAN NEVER WIN. I WILL NEVER WIN!!!

    /JUMPS OUT OF WINDOW

  • /jumps out of window is such a fail! fuckin' hell. worst line ever!

  • thats hilarious

  • LOL!

  • how donwload the macos 6 please

  • Yes you can put it on games n music

    DLDI patch it first

  • i have games n music and it says something like this:

    Cannot find filesystem.

    Press 'C' to continue...

    What do i do????/

  • is it the r4 revolution ds cartridge u are using coz my mate has that and hes got like 30 games on it along with a vista moonshell

  • how do you do this???

  • You need a blank DS card, the port of Mini vMac for the DS, a Macintosh Plus (for to get the disk image off of) and some way of getting all the necessary stuff onto the blank DS card, a process of which I have no knowledge about.

  • im confused....

  • can you install this from a mac, i been reading but you only can from a pc.

  • Yes you can.

  • Coming from a hard-core Mac user such as yours truly, running Macintosh System 6 on a DS looks pretty frickin' sweet. I would just love to see the DS emulate Mac OS 9...

Hell, if I could do this to my original DS, I'd have a lot of fun with it.

  • You can. You know the program Mini vMac? They make a DS version. You just need to download it and put it on an R4 card.

  • can u put it on a games n music card

  • I don't know.....

  • Mini vMac will only run stuff that a Mac Plus could - so System 7.5 at best.

  • Most likely not. Once you load up an emulation from games n music, it doesn't allow you to re-access the SD Card.

All the more reason why I upgraded to an R4. Wasted my money on that stupid datel trash. D:

  • dldi patch idiot. mine works fine. and i dont even patch things manually. i let dsorganize patch things on the fly automatically

  • can you send me Mac_hd.img?

  • DS linux like almost never works!!

  • This is boss man!

  • "Heh, who says that the PSP is the only handheld capable of emulating an OS?"

Its the only handheld capable of emulating a GOOD OS ^_~

  • So Windows 95 is better than a mac OS? Fuck that. Mac is still close to Unix so it will always be better than 95

  • rofl you obviously havent seen what the PSP can emulate. A LOT more than windows 95 there, bucko :p

  • The PSP emulation scene is dying, "bucko."

Sony is constantly updating their firmware and adding more and more ways to keep homebrew off of that system. The latest firmware, 3.10 is made specifically to prevent the GTA exploit and any other ways to run unsigned code on the PSP. Sony will continue to win this battle.

  • At least PSP homebrew can be run without having to buy hardware...

  • no it cant. you need to buy a decent memory card

  • You can still run some games with the memory card that comes with it (32mb)

  • you also need liberty city stories

  • Or Firmware version 1.5

  • Good work man, with a little added speed, this won't be half bad! Amazing!

For those of you who want to know more:

  • Here's a Mac emulator running System 7.5.3:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jF1SC_bH8nc

  • the ds screen is to small and its to slow wats the point of doing this

  • Even though 99.99% of people with a DS wouldn't use an outdated operating system on their handheld, TheLazy1 is just showing off his mad skills and proving to everyone that it's possible. Good job man!

  • why does it say SONY

  • ^yea wtf is up with that.

  • that sure dont prove its a ds to me

  • Where is the actual DS

  • It's running on an emulator for that video, I'll get a video of it running on a real DS when I find someone with the hardware to do it.

  • Lol too cheap for a DS :D

  • Hehe, I have a DS and this runs beautifully on it :)

I just have no video camera good enough to see the screen.

  • @TheLazy1 Just get a fake DS card (example: R4, Action Replay DSi, etc.) & a micro SD card

  • Heh, who says that the PSP is the only handheld capable of emulating an OS?

But seriously, this is pretty cool. I don't suppose that there is keyboard support, but it's an interesting proof of concept nonetheless.

  • DS Linux has keyboard support via touchscreen so why wouldn't this have it?

  • sweet!!
