These Montessori families are very involved in their children's early childhood education as a rule. Children cannot be this well-behaved and confident without parents who are involved in their children's lives. Montessori does not approach their role as "child care" where the parents drop the kids off and forget about it for the day. Montessori is about "childhood development" which must involve parents that are engaged.
