U2 ? Nah... Satisfaction of The Rolling Stones! ;-) classic rock song and the best on the new album, as One Night (true american alt.rock 90s), As I Am (Here Is Gone atmosphere), Soldier and Say You're Free in Gutterflower style, and amazing Nightmares & Dreams. that's all.

Notbroken, Home, Nothing Is Real (Daughtry, ha ha), Now I Hear, Still Your Song and of corse Hey Ya - all of this songs is great, but it's too modern for Googas, you know... guys, I waited Gutterflower-2...

This is the Goo Goo Dolls I remember from the Hold Me Up, Superstar Car Wash, and Boy Named Goo era! It's still a bit polished, but it sounds better than some of thier stuff brought out after A Boy Named Goo

Unfortunately it's not... I've heard the entire album. Sweetest Lie is by far the best song. It's the gem of an otherwise lite-rock album.

I hate saying that cuz I love this band... I just hope they don't play the entire album on tour at the expense of older/rawer/ better material...

well goo goo dolls were the reason i got into music like long time back

but like albums like a boy named goo and dizzy up the girl, had a miracle in them, like a conceptual album, you could listen to all the songs without skipping any and u would feel like your in a story but since they entered into 2000 i guess they lost there touch, the album gutterflower was kinda dark and silent but still was good as tracks like here is gone, big machine, sympathy, what a scene, its over,

made it look good, but after that let love in was no where close to what we call goo goo dolls, and now this album looks soft rock to me, i have only heard home and still your song, but i can imagine its going to be soft, we wait for four years for there album to come and we have the right to expect better output from them,but i guess its not the same like the old days, its sad i miss that but still john rzeznik is one of the best song writers ever

Sweetest Lie is easily the best track off the upcoming album from what i've heard.

Home - Ok

As I am - Weak

Not Broken - OK

Now I Hear - Good Robby Song

One Night - OK/Good

Still Your Song - OK

Just my opinion. I love the goo but I really hope there are a couple rockers on this thing. Sweetest Lie so far is the only Rzeznik one.

@mellanbee19 I disagree about As I am. it is my favorite, followed by sweetest lie and home. Not broken and still your song are good also. Now I hear is my favorite robby song, but still Johnny's better. Not to diss on Robby, I love the guy. I havn't heard one night, so i'll go look it up now!
